We are looking for a warm, educated and creative nanny who can help with a sweet preschooler in the afternoons. The schedule is usually Monday-Friday from 5-9pm plus a weekend evening of babysitting. This is a super down to earth family in the Marina with two working professional parents. They also have a sweet older St Bernard who needs walking. It would be great if you are wonderful cook as preparing dinner and lunch for the next day will be a part of your day to day. Some errands such as running to Whole Foods or picking the dry cleaners will be asked of you from time to time. This little girl loves all things girly and also enjoys being outdoors so a love for being active is important. The parents are very organized and have a schedule in place, all you have to do is follow it and be super communicative! Great for a graduate student as you can take your classes in the mornings. The family is guaranteeing a minimum of 20-25 hours/week and $18-20/hour, DOE. We hope you have at least a few very strong references and it can be a combination of nannying, camp counselor, swim teacher, as long it is child care related but we need at least 2 references as a nanny in a private home. You MUST have at least 5+ years of professional nanny experience, a positive attitude, the capability to travel and flexibility in your schedule to be the back up to the week day nanny. This is a live out position but you will be needed for many overnights so from Thursday/Friday night (depending on the week) to Monday morning, this family can be your only priority.
