Mom can guarantee hours but we do need someone flexible with their schedule…last minute meetings do come up at work and plans do change. This position is live out but we would like flexibility for you to sleep over or stay as late as need. You must be up for an adventure! There is a lot of travel in this position and sometimes you will be gone for 2 weeks at a time. The little girl is in preschool and mom is due with baby #2 NOW!

We are looking for a nanny/mentor/role model/tutor/magical person to spend the summer in Istanbul with a WONDERFUL couple whose 11 year old daughter is battling leukemia. The timing is not set in stone — but Mom & Dad are thinking to bring someone for June-August. The little girl has been more or less isolated all year (she couldn’t go to school due to treatments and risk of infection) and needs a breath of fresh air. The family lives in a very safe part of the city and have a lovely second home a couple of hours away on the ocean. We have not yet determined pay and specifics, but are guessing pay is in the $25/hour range for 40 hours per week and the family would, of course, pay for Nanny’s travel and provide lovely accommodations.
