We are looking for a creative nanny, preferably someone who has a strong Educational background to work for a family in Palo Alto. The kids are 7 and 9 and extremely bright. The parents are hoping to find a fun big sister or big brother type who can PLAY and engage with the kids after school. You will also be responsible for managing their schedules, keeping up to date with classroom activities, researching after school activities and keeping the parents informed on all of the above.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years recent, full time experience working with children. The PERFECT background would be someone who has grown up babysitting or comes from a large family where you watched younger siblings and/or cousins, studied Child Development in college, worked in a classroom after graduation and now wants to earn more money working in a private home!

Beautiful couple with 4.5 year old boy in Century City seeks THE MOST amazing and nurturing Nanny, preferably with pre-school teaching experience and a background in child development.   This family isn’t totally RIE, but definitely subscribes to a more progressive style (versus being strict).  This family likes to have TOTAL coverage, seven days a week, so they are looking for two Nannies who are willing to travel.  Each Nanny will be guaranteed 40 hours per week (paid on the books) plus health benefits after three months, sick and vacation days.  Schedule is open depending on who is hired and what works for them.  The one thing the family doesn’t want is a M-F Nanny and a weekend Nanny.  It’s more likely to do 3.5 days on and 3.5 off OR have one Nanny work 6:30am to 1:30pm and the other from 3pm until much later in the evening.   This is a big job requiring heaps of flexibility and travel.
