Family with 3 kids (newborn, 6 and 8 years old) needs a nanny who can grow with them for many years. Nanny’s responsibilities include newborn care, after school care , driving to driving to activities, mother’s helper tasks, light housekeeping (we have a housekeeper), cooking (mostly for kids). Ideally someone who is happy to pitch in with whatever is needed to keep the family and household running smoothly. It’s also very important to have someone who can engage/connect with the older kids. Any Montessori or teaching experience would be ideal or someone who can be innovative with enriching activities and who has strategies to communicate with/discipline/instruct children. Mom works part time so often child care will be shared (ie not all three kids at once, especially the first six months). Flexibility to stay later or start early is ideal, as well as being able to change schedule as needs change.
Own car and clean driving record a must. 
Ability to travel or sleep over on occasion if family is out of town for a night or two would be ideal.  Family pays on the books, with two weeks paid vacation, sick days per CA law, and 6 paid holidays off.

Temporary Nanny needed for lovely family coming to Los Angeles from Wednesday February 12th – Monday March 2nd. The kids are 4 years old and 15 months old.
