Wonderful family needs a warm and loving nanny to help care for their newborn son and two other sons (aged 5 & 8.) Both Dad and Mom work full time, but are currently working at home. As the parents are usually gone all day, you must be a self starter and ready to take control. Though they are around a lot right now so we are looking for a Nanny who can be flexible and be a great team player.

Schedule is usually Monday-Friday from 8am-5/6pm with the flexibility to come at 7:30am some mornings. You should be full of energy and ready to get on the floor and play. Everything from walks in the neighborhood to tidying up/light cleaning and making healthy meals will be in your routine. You are an extension of mom and dad in this family and it is truly a team effort. Educational and developmental activities are important. The parents love taking their son to the library and walks in the neighborhood in regular times. Most days will be only with the baby from about 8am-2:30pm once the older boys go back to school full time in the Fall, and then afternoons with all three.

They have been home schooling the children because they are in the film business and they travel a lot. (you will not need to travel with them). They are dog people, nature lovers, beach and outdoorsy kids. The family would love it if you are easy going and flexible. We are working with the nicest, most respectful and kind family on the eastside who need a wonderful nanny to come in and help them. Dad works outside of the house, Mom works at home part time and is in and out of the house during the day. They have two adorable children, and one is in preschool who need a loving nanny to come in and help. Dad’s job requires him to stay late and sometimes travel, so we would love someone who can be flexible. Most weeks you will work Monday-Friday, 9am-5/6pm but they like to be able to give you the schedule for the week ahead and if Mom needs help with dinner or something comes up, that you can come earlier or stay later. Most weeks will be around 40 hours, but they do pay on the books and you will earn overtime if they need you to work it.

The ideal nanny has long term references, is active and fun, great if you have taken any childhood development classes but not a deal breaker and has a Passport in case the family decides to travel in the future. Please be comfortable swimming with children and be up to date on CPR/First Aid, or willing to get re-certified.

This family appreciates their privacy, but also really likes to have a good laugh and get creative. We would love a nanny who really loves what they do, but understands how to keep things light and not too serious.
