There’s a good deal of medication management so familiarity with pharm. is necessary as well. We are looking for a Nanny with a super high EQ who can handle a lovely but challenging child who is on the spectrum. Mom and Dad prefer to talk her through periods of dis-regulation versus bending to her will and while they (and their long-time Nanny) will gladly take lots of time to train the new hire — they prefer to find someone who can hit the ground running and will know what to do. There’s also a social component to the position. This is a child who doesn’t easily make friends so applicants should be comfortable inserting themselves with the school and neighborhood Moms in order to facilitate playdates. This is a fully staffed home in Brentwood and pay is on the books, DOE. There’s a fish and three dogs in the house, so hopefully you are pet friendly. This position will likely start in December or January.
