We are helping a young family on the UES find an amazing nanny that loves to cook. This family has a 2.5 year old and a 4 year old, so it is a busy and fun home! The hours will fluctuate, based on the kid’s schedule, but roughly 7-7 when they are not in school. You will tag team with mom on things kids – preparing meals, bathing, bedtime routine, playdates, school pick up and drop off and playtime! Summers will be spent in the Hamptons, so knowing how to swim is a must! They are flexible, you can work Mon-Fri or Mon-Sat. We are helping a young Tribeca family of 4 find a temp weekend nanny until September

One of our favorite clients is looking for a temp nanny for every Saturday and Sunday, until September. The hours are 10-10 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday’s. During the summer, you will spend Friday night until Sunday late afternoon in the Hamptons. They have a 2 month old and a 2 year old. There is a baby nurse in the home, but she is not there every weekend. You should be comfortable having both children, although your primary responsibility will be with the 2 year old. Mom is home a lot, so please be comfortable working alongside mom and taking direction from her. This is a blend of mother’s helper and full charge. When mom and dad are with the kids, that would be a great time to help with other duties – laundry, tidying up, sanitizing washing bottles, load and unload dishwasher and run any errands they might have. This role has the potential to turn into a full time rota role in September! We are looking for a fun, energetic and safety conscious nanny! Pay is $45 hour, on the books. We are looking for a wonderful nanny from 7am – 2 – number 1 is to get both boys up and ready for school, and get the 4 year old cleaned up and dressed, and pack lunch and get him out the door. The 9 month old plays a bit in the morning, make breakfast, clean up after the kids meals. It is important that you are organized and neat – they have a housekeeper but tidy up for the kids!! put the toys away etc. It would be great if you would take the 9 month old to a class, take him to the library or music class and keep him engaged.
