After-School Nanny Family Assistant needed for a young family

We are looking for a warm and nurturing person to help with two terrific kids in the afternoons and evenings.
This position is for a young widowed dad, raising two wonderful kids on his own. the little boy is in 8th grade and a dedicated football player. His daughter is in 5th grade and full of curiosity, creativity, and energy. They are loving, resilient children, and they’ve grown up surrounded by support. (the community has rallied around them) —their housekeeper has been with them for 15 years, and stays on the weekends

What they need most is someone steady and kind, fun kind and solid! Someone who can bring some calm to the house, cook a healthy dinner and make sure they get their homework done!
Schedule looks like this:
Weekdays, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

School pick-up for the little girl and spend time with both kids in the evenings

Cook family dinners about 4 nights a week (nothing fancy, just healthy, good meals)

Light evening household support as needed

Milo is 3 years old and the due date for the new baby is 10 22
this adorable family wants to make arrangements for their son to be taken care of while she delivers the new baby.
this 3 year old little boy is joyous and sweet and has no agenda, so you will have a great 48 hours with him!!
He loves everyone – he makes friends immediately!
The family does not have family here and he may be a bit shy at the beginning.
They are looking for a great transition for him that will make him feel as good as he can!
He does have a tiny speech delay (we have a therapist) but he is speaking in sentences now – so patience is important.
He is in preschool, but will probably be with you for those 2 days while mom is in the hospital.
They want someone really fun and attentive. He will eat with anyone! Loves food so you can be as imaginative as you like.
He Loves tv – loves tricycles – loves dinosaurs – he is in to Jurassic park and Mickey Mouse!
He is also playing soccer at the school .
Can you commit to 2 to 3 days between Sept 14th and the 22nd? They would want you to come over for a couple babysitting moments before that to get to know him!

We are looking for our favorite family from 11-7 on the East side! the family travels a lot so you might get to live in NY for a couple months! the kids have had a nanny for a few years, and they are still close to each other!! We are looking for a wonderful warm and flexible nanny family assistant for a beautiful family with an 7 year old and 5 year old. Mom and Dad are extremely creative, they both work in the entertainment business. It’s important to them to find a loving, creative, active and organized nanny who can provide wonderful care for their children.

The hours will often be Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm. Though we do need someone who can be flexible and come early or stay late as needed.

Please have your passport ready as they often travel for work, and like to adventure on family vacations. They would love a nanny who is curious and will find great museums to go to with the kids, art classes, hikes, and all the best LA has to offer. Please be able to assist with basic homework, safely drive the kids around, grocery shop, meal prep and some cooking and be that proactive person who thinks ahead for what the family might need.

This family is kind, and the house is a happy one. We are looking for a nanny who will be a great match. Their last nanny was with them for years and we know firsthand they are great to work for. They do have a part time housekeeper who handles most of the laundry, but it would be great if you can help with the kid’s laundry as needed.

The family would like to offer $40 an hour but can be flexible and will help cover the cost of some of your health insurance, DOE. Of course they will also offer paid vacation, sick days and holidays. Please live in the east valley, or somewhere close to Pasadena to be considered, and have at least 5plus years of full time, recent, nanny experience in Los Angeles.
