The two year old boy goes to school all morning and comes home for a long nap. While he is in school mom may ask you to do errands ,scheduling, organizing, and possible travel arrangements. In the afternoon you will be a camp counselor. We want someone FUN FUN FUN with this little one. Mom would love for you to show up with arts and crafts and go outside looking for rolly pollies, plan field trips to Descanso Gardens and the zoo. She wants you to always have a plan for this little one so he is always engaged. No screen time here!
The perfect nanny/ assistant is college educated, smart, proactive and can follow directions. Because both parents are often on set, you will be required to travel. When in Los Angeles, the family will mostly need you Monday – Friday 12-8 pm. Occasional weekends will be needed with notice. When Mom is shooting you will travel with her for extended periods on set. Last year she was filming a tv show for 4 months in Atlanta so please be up for some adventure!
There is a 17 year old high school daughter as well so it would be great if you can be a big sister type to her as well but she will not need a nanny or any childcare related help.
Family pays on the books with overtime per CA law, 5 paid sick days as well as all federal holidays off with pay. You will also be paid $150 per night when traveling . This amazing family needs an incredible nanny to educate, love, and guide their 8 month old boy. Full time working parents are looking to grow their family and want a nanny to grow with them, to become part of their family and a key team player in raising successful kids.

This is a full time position, 10 hours a day 8:30-5:30 or 8-6. Duties include keeping and creating their son’s schedule and routine, reading nursery rhymes, taking walks and other excursions. Nanny would be responsible for managing daily housekeeping like picking up toys, keeping the nursery impeccably organized and preparing the baby food. Traveling with the family would be fantastic too but there isn’t much of that happening currently.

There is a car for use for baby classes and excursions and there is nothing this family wouldn’t do for the right nanny to join them!

Speaking and teaching a second language would be a huge perk!
