Our client is a woman in her early seventies who has had some health and emotional issues. Her family is very involved and helpful, and would like to have some additional support for around 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Our client does not need help with daily living (hygiene etc.) — this role is more about companionship and support; helping in the house and being a calming presence. Our ideal candidate speaks Hebrew and/or is a native English speaker. A psych. or social work background would be lovely, but is not necessary. Pay is around $25/hour. We are looking for 2 CNA’s to help a 92 year old Lady who recently broke her hip and arm.  This is an independent and sophisticated woman who was living on her own until her accident.  She recently had surgery and is in an acute rehab facility. She’s making progress, but it’s slow.  When she’s released from the rehab facility, she will be moving in with her daughter in Hancock Park and will require around the clock care.  We are looking for one CNA to do the 7:00am to 7:00pm shift and a second CNA to do the night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am.  APPLICANTS MUST HAVE VALID CNA LICENSES to be considered for either position.

We are looking for a companion for a generous and lovely elder CEO in Manhattan. The position is 24/6 live in (you can stay at the house on your day off.) You will be responsible for accompanying the principal to appointments, meetings and lunches. You will also be the liason between his family and the doctors (he is not sick but does need someone to monitor medication.) You will also need to be able to carry him from bed to wheelchair.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience working for elder clients and understand the dynamics of working for someone in their 90s.
