You will help Mom make sure she is resting, eating, and take her to doctor appointments. This will be a cash job, and they will also fly you home to LA twice for a 4 day weekend as a break. $25/hour, DOE.

Wonderful 90-year old gentleman in the Valley seeks 24/7 live IN help for the next 60-days minimally, and possibly longer. He has been moved from the retirement home in which he previously lived to avoid exposure to Covid-19. He has dementia but is still quite able to take care of himself. He uses a walker and needs general assistance with daily living, plus cooking, tidying and companionship. We are looking for a caring and compassionate helper with minimum 5-years experience taking care of elders in a private home setting. He had a terrible fall and dislocated his shoulder as well as breaking his hip so this will be a long road to recovery. For the time being, he will need about 6 weeks – 2 months of 24/7 care including everything from administrating medication to feeding to bathing and fixing a cup of tea.

He is a loved fixture of the neighborhood often hosting as many as 20 people on his porch for afternoon drinks and storytelling. He has seen it all and has the most interesting life that you will get to be a part of. This gentleman has 2 dogs and 1 cat so you should love animals.

We are looking for a companion for a generous and lovely elder CEO in Manhattan. The position is 24/6 live in (you can stay at the house on your day off.) You will be responsible for accompanying the principal to appointments, meetings and lunches. You will also be the liason between his family and the doctors (he is not sick but does need someone to monitor medication.) You will also need to be able to carry him from bed to wheelchair.

We are looking for 2 CNA’s to help a 92 year old Lady who recently broke her hip and arm.  This is an independent and sophisticated woman who was living on her own until her accident.  She recently had surgery and is in an acute rehab facility. She’s making progress, but it’s slow.  When she’s released from the rehab facility, she will be moving in with her daughter in Hancock Park and will require around the clock care.  We are looking for one CNA to do the 7:00am to 7:00pm shift and a second CNA to do the night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am.  APPLICANTS MUST HAVE VALID CNA LICENSES to be considered for either position.
