Medically she’s in good shape for her age, hard of hearing and many trips to the bathroom at night – but mentally very sharp. Her family lives in Los Angeles, but they need a real expert to help at nights. We are hoping to find a kind and experienced LVN or CNA to help Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings from 10pm-8am. Hourly pay in cash, $25/hour DOE.

She lives in a skilled nursing home and has medical care, but as her ALS is advanced now, she needs help turning the TV on, getting read to (she can’t use her hands anymore,) and someone patient and kind who can bring a smile to her day. Tell her stories, listen to music with her. You do not need a ton of experience, just the right personality to get along. This could be great for someone who lives near Reseda and has worked as an assistant, caregiver, nanny or housekeeper – the main ingredient is a big loving heart. Huge plus if you are bilingual in Spanish as our client loves listening to her friends speak to her in Spanish.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 1-5pm. We are hoping you can commit at least a few months, the longer the better.

Lovely elderly woman in Westwood is in need of a part time companion.  The hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm for now, and may expand to cover all five days in the future.  This is a very sharp lady who is mobile and does not need a nurse.  We are looking for a good and safe driver who can accompany her to appointments and on errands and outings. It will mostly be daytime, but the husband travels, so they will need you to sleep over about 4 times per month.

Lovely 87 year old man in Pasadena needs help. We need someone with experience with Parkinson’s. He is not in terrible shape- he can still walk but he needs a wheelchair sometimes. We are looking for someone strong and in good physical shape. He would love home cooked meals and to get out of the house a few days a week. Monday- Friday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (6 hour shift during the week) Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m to 11 p.m ( 12 hour shift on weekends)
