We have been hired to find a wonderful, caring companion for a gentleman with Parkinson’s. This gentleman’s brain is in perfect shape, but he is wheelchair bound. He still has use of his arms, but his legs are not working, so it is helpful if you are strong. He lives in a wonderful home where there is a lot of extra help (nursing and people to help him in and out of the chair). The hours will be during the week from 8 till 4.
You will take him to the doctor, read to him, and communicate with the family, take him to the grocery, to the museum, anywhere to keep him occupied, stimulated, and happy. He is a book collector and is very interesting; if you are a kind, empathetic person, this is the perfect job for you. Could be a wonderful job for a widow, or a retiree.

The couple is still very active, and she would love to remain active. This job will probably “morph” from part time to full time, as she is a bit resistant to getting help. A wonderful elderly couple thinks they do not need help! We are looking for an empathetic, caring, smart person that can start part time and possibly end up doing full time as they age. The wife has Alzheimer’s (just starting) and the gentleman needs help with mobility. They need help with the following: some cleaning, computer, Skype with their grandchildren, a warm meal, driving, errands, maybe help in the shower with the wife. It might start as one 8 hour day…or 2 or 3, 4 hour days.

Moorpark Caregiver Needed — Amazing couple in Moorpark needs a 24/7 caregiver. The husband has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Both husband and wife need help with medication management, light tidying, cooking, companionship and caregiving. We are hoping to identify a Caregiver who will quarantine with the family for the next month or two as the world figures out how to deal with Covid-19. It’s important to not have Caregivers coming and going at this time as our client’s health is extremely fragile. Help will be needed at night — but the family will be sure there are long rest periods during the day. The need for help at this level will not be long-term. There is a private area with a bedroom and bathroom for the caregiver.
