We have a late-60’s wonderful woman who is a wheelchair-bound paraplegic who just received an ostomy. She needs an experienced home health aide who can skillfully perform her ostomy change at least twice/week, as well as assist with a range of domestic support tasks—paying bills, light cleaning, laundry and the like. Her husband, almost 70, does not need any health aide support but could also benefit from some clerical support—paying bills, including the landscaper and housekeeper. We need someone who is comfortable with transfers, bathing for man and woman feeding, dressing and a pubic tube. Other basics like temperature, blood pressure, companionship, and light housekeeping. Driving to appointments as well. Must be comfortable lifting the wife who is 100 pounds. There are dogs in the house, cats and a turtle.

We are working with a LOVELY couple in their 90’s who have a beautiful property in Brentwood. They are looking for a female caregiver who can work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednsday from 7:00am to 7:00pm starting January 3rd through the end of the month, and possibly longer. Pay is $25/hour for the first nine hours, then time and a half for hours 9-12. The job is caregiving, ordering groceries and very LIGHT simple cooking. The wife is in very good shape. This refined and classy lady is situated in the hills of West Hollywood nestled in a tree lined gorgeous home.This will be a flexible schedule with about 30 hours/week. It would be great if you like to cook and can be creative in the kitchen to keep up a healthy diet for her. She does have a cat so this is for someone who loves animals and has no animal allergies. You will liaise between her daughter and other family members so it is important that you can balance that fine line of professionalism and still being compassionate and warm.

We are looking for a PART TIME Caregiver for an independent 91 year old Lady in Beverly Hills.  The client is thinking to hire someone 25 hours per week, typically spread over five afternoons, Monday through Friday, depending on needs.  This is a Lady who is still able to take care of herself, but no longer drives, so the job is primarily companionship, errands, driving, and shopping. She also needs help walking, and has difficulty hearing, so we are looking for a companion who is patient, respectful, helpful, energetic, and is a very careful and slow driver, as our client is a nervous passenger!   She also needs help in the house with small domestic tasks, such as changing a bed and helping with dishes, but this is not a Housekeeping role.  You do not have to be a CNA or an LVN, but we are only looking for candidates who have experience in elder care.
