A very private global celebrity is looking for a wonderful houseman to start with him at his new home in Holmby Hills. Duties include handling the vendors, scheduling large maintenance projects, helping with the cars and the housekeeper! There is a tiny private tight staff ( a butler, a chef and an executive housekeeper) so, please be a team player! He would love someone that has had some manager responsibilities, as well as some handyman work to help with various fixes in the home. The client travels a lot, so there will be different projects while he is away, but a very light schedule. Please let us know if you are interested!

One of our kindest clients is looking for a full-time Houseman House Manager. This role could be live-in (small guest quarters inside the home) or live out. Duties include maintaining maintenance spread sheets and detailed vendor lists, and scheduling all the work that takes place in the home. You will also oversee the gardening staff, pool man and housekeepers. The Principals don’t want to worry about anything related to their beautiful home — they would like to hand the reigns to you. This means you should understand the alarm system, the WIFI, the exterior lighting to etc … You will also service and clean three vehicles, maintain inventories, run errands and do some occasional driving. A background in construction would be helpful and we hope you are handy able to assemble items as needed, and troubleshoot various fixes around the home. We would like to find someone who will be super dialed into the whole property. In an ideal world — we find a candidate who is willing to do some international travel with the Principal. This is an all-encompassing role — but fear not — this is a very kind employer whose employees have stayed on for years. Their expectations are broad, yet realistic. Extraordinary House Manager Executive Housekeeper Role in Malibu

Our out-of-state client owns two homes on the same street near Zuma Beach. One home is occasionally rented and the other is used as a vacation home, approximately 30 days of the year. The rental home is mid-size and slightly dated. The other is a brand new smart home — approximately 8,000 square feet. Both need to be expertly cared for. The Director of Residences will come to town about once a month or every six weeks. He needs local boots-on-the-ground to ensure that each home is in pristine working condition. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, is a quick and effective communicator, and is driven to do an excellent job! An Executive Housekeeper with Management experience is the dream as cleaning duties are an inevitable part of the role. There will also be a cleaning crew or part-time Housekeeper 2-3 times per week. The role works Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Pay is $60 hour plus a $6k annual health supplement and a generous achievable discretionary bonus given for a job well done. The normal schedule is M-F from approximately 9am to 5pm; however, Property Manager will be expected to stay late or come on the weekend if there’s an emergency or a special event. The ideal candidate lives within 45 minutes from the Point Dume area and can handle maintenance and repairs. There’s a very self-sufficient Housekeeper on site who does not require oversight, so this position is less about managing staff and more about managing the physical property. The home is just under 5,000 square feet and sits on an acre of manicured landscaping. The Principal would like to find a self-starter who is proactive versus reactive and can beautifully maintain this very special place. Lovely Single Gentleman in Beverly Hills is looking for a FLEXIBLE Butler-Houseman. Duties are a hybrid mix of physical work around the property (cleaning cars, organizing pool to outdoor furniture, cleaning railings to balconies, organizing garage to cabinets, helping housekeepers) and Butlering (welcoming to serving guests, carrying luggage, assisting at dinner parties). Some days you will start at 8am or 9am and other days, you may start and end later, i.e. 1pm to 9pm. The Principal’s home is set-up with service seven days a week from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Estate Manager will be sure you have two consecutive days off and are not overworked, but this employer requires FLEXIBILITY to work as needed, including holidays to weekends. Travel to Montana or New York is a possibility. All travel expenses are covered, you will be given private accommodations and be paid an overnight fee.
