We are looking for the white glove house manager who loves and excels working on a large, multi-property estate. You should have at least 5+ years experience as a house manager in a local high profile home. Your responsibilities will vary day to day as the events are always changing for this family’s demanding schedule. Everything that happens in the residence will run through you. The staff is wonderful and you will get to be working hand in hand with the best in the city. You will work in close coordination with the estate manager and oversee the other staff. It is important to have impeccable hiring/firing skills, attention to detail, ability to work well under tight deadlines, handle scheduling, overseeing the staff and managing the household budgets. Amazing Los Feliz family with three children and a busy CEO Mom is looking for an incredible Family Assistant. Mom’s business is all consuming and she depends on her wonderful staff to help her manage everything so when she is home, can be focused on being a Mom. When she is home, she likes to be hands on which is why this role is so vital. You will manage the home which includes everything from scheduling the staff to being a back up to the nannies to overseeing construction projects to running errands to just figuring it out. This role is for a professional who loves what they do and are proud to represent the family they work for in the most eloquent manner. The ideal person studied at a well respected University, nannied and has transitioned to being a family/personal assistant. As the children get older, it would be great if you could help the girls with homework as they will be attending rigorous LA schools. This is an all MAC product home and you should be tech savvy enough to problem solve issues before reaching out to the IT people. Icing on the cake is if you are fluent in Spanish. You are organized, anticipatory, a great multitasker that understands how to prioritize issues and fix problems translucently. Discretion is of the upmost importance, this family is in the public eye and likes to keep their home life private. Everyone who works in this home is happy and stays for years. 

Your schedule will fluctuate but be around 11am-7pm. We do need flexibility as the schedule does change. While overseeing renovations you will need to be availably early to deal with contractors. Some travel may be necessary to prep vacation homes or go with the family on vacation. Salary is DOE with wonderful health insurance.

You must have at least 5-10 years of experience working in a home, an excellent demeanor, be a complete team player and understand the intricacies of working in a home. Your references must highlight how experienced you are, explain how seamlessly you oversaw renovations/ construction in the past and how your past employers could not image having anyone else do this job. Entertainment Family looking for Estate Manager

This is a LIVE-OUT position. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to answering phones, sorting mail, paying bills, dealing with vendors and construction crew-the house is under some construction and so some experience with remodel work would be a plus. We would love to find someone who has the knowledge of how to throw a dinner party and has some type of experience in event planning. You may be asked to help serve, place wine glasses in a formal setting and can ultimately throw an exquisite dinner party seamlessly. There will be smaller tasks asked of you as well: including stocking the home with anything from soap, and lining up toilet paper beautifully to buying fine wines.

We also want someone with management skills as you will be responsible for managing their household staff: 2 -3 housekeepers, 4 personal assistants, and one or 2 chefs. You may also need to correspond with the principal’s office, so someone who has great writing and verbal skills. The clients have other homes- an occasional travel and management to these estates is required.

As you can see, this is a Jack/Jane of All Trades position. ANYTHING GOES! So put your seat belt on and get ready for an exciting job of a lifetime!

You must have graduated from a 4 year, accredited university. If you do not have a college degree, please do not apply as education is highly valued in this household! Any grad school courses in Event Management/Planning, Human Resources,

You need to have thick skin and high energy .

5 days a week, hours are about 8a-8p, M-F but you will probably end up working 2 weekends a month or on call. There is also the potential to travel
