You will be comfortable greeting guests, managing a team of housekeepers, overseeing vendors, and anything else to make this estate run like a 7 star hotel. You have an instinct for entertainment. You might be a captain in a fine restaurant -you are warm and friendly and you know when to be present and know when to fall back. You will be working with a wonderful Estate Manager and a wonderful boss!

You should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a love entertaining and fine homes! You must be professional and discreet at all times, maintain a strong work ethic, and be incredibly detail oriented and flexible. You will be the hub of administrative activity in the household. Make sure the housekeepers are doing their job because you have a fine eye for detail!

We are looking for a NYC based traditional butler. The main priority for this role is flexibility to travel for extended periods at a time (will never be longer than 4 weeks, but shorter trips can be extended with short notice so flexibility is key!)

You will be responsible for all traditional butler duties including light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and cooking. We are looking for a Butler with an eye for detail, a fine eye and someone who can set a beautiful table or arrange a gorgeous bouquet.

Because you will be traveling the majority of the time – things will be constantly changing and you will need to be able to anticipate the principal’s desires.
