We are helping a lovely family of 4 find a MWF housekeeper for their gorgeous home in Garden City, NY. There are 3 adorable Golden Retrievers in the home, so must love dogs! The hours will be 9-5, MWF. You will work alongside a partner and tag team. There is daily laundry, daily cleaning, a guest home that requires routine cleaning and changing of sheets when guests are in town, meal prep, chopping fruits and veggies, and standard housekeeping duties. The home is 10,000 square feet with 6 bedrooms. The house manager will have a schedule for you to follow and a checklist to complete before your shift is over. We are helping a family of 4 on the UES find the best hybrid house manager and butler in Manhattan. You should have former high profile experience, long-term references (no job hopping!), be willing to work every Saturday and Sunday 40-50 hours week, and be able to manage a team of 4 housekeepers. We are looking for a total team player here! This job requires 50% cleaning – so please be okay with this! A lot of tag teaming with the housekeepers. You should have experience working alongside a chef and be able to do light cooking on Sunday’s when the chef is off work if needed. If the nanny needs to take an hour break, you are okay to jump in and help the nanny and hang with their child! This is a lifestyle, 5 star position – the staff work every holiday, every weekend and are always in constant communication with each other via group texts. You want to give the family the best experience possible and in return, they take amazing care of you!! Health insurance, 401k, paid time off, overtime, ubers to and from work, take out ordered on your shifts…they are so generous!!! You should have knowledge of organic cleaning products, running a 5 star home, fine linens and clothing and deep cleaning. The position is live out on the UES from September through May, and live-in in the Hamptons in the summer. The housekeeping team rotate, so you aren’t there every single night in the summer. We are looking for a flexible housekeeper to join this young family’s staff. They have a wonderful estate manager who you will report to daily, though there is a lot of interaction with the family as well.

You will work with 2 other housekeepers in the home to ensure it is clean, tidy and the family has all that they need. This is an energetic home with a lot of moving pieces. We need an organized housekeeper who can manage laundry, deep cleaning, keeping up systems, helping order products for the household and more.

Please be able to start your day around 7am or 8am most days, and work an eight hour day. They do host many events, so there is opportunity to earn overtime!

This home has staff 7 days a week, and does need weekend coverage. The Estate Manager can do a schedule where you work one or two weekends a month, with some kind of rotation, or if you prefer a set schedule, Wednesday-Sunday.
