Gorgeous 3,200 square foot mid-century home in Bel Air (just E. of the 405 fwy.) is in need of a meticulous white-glove Housekeeper. The home is owned by a very busy female executive who works long hours and has two small dogs. She is looking for a mature and experienced HK who can work 8:00am to 3/4:00pm, Monday through Friday. This position will begin in JANUARY, 2020 and involves some LIGHT cooking, i.e. green drinks, sliced avocado, simple salad, eggs — NOTHING complicated whatsoever. Duties include :
Cleaning & Organizing:
● All day to day cleaning: floors, surfaces, bathroom, kitchen, dusting, mirrors
● Organize and sort all laundry, closets, clothing to keep neat and tidy
● All recycling, and trash removal, breaking down boxes, donations etc
● Make beds daily
● Sweeping/vacuuming (daily downstairs & master bedroom, 2 x week in other bedrooms) Food/Grocery:
● Grocery receiving/put away
● Light grocery shopping when requested
● Washing of all fruits/vegetables before organizing in fridge
● Heating/Preparing light snacks if requested
Laundry/Linens/Clothing Care:
● Change bed linen & towels: wash, dry, fold and put away (2 x per week for Master bedroom, 1 x week for other rooms)
● All laundry/delicates & hand wash/stain removal/steaming/ironing
● Drop off & pick up of dry cleaning & special request cleaning
● Drop off & pick up of items to be repaired/altered
Pets/Plants/Garden/Outdoors:
● Watering plants, sweep balconies/patio
● Must be a dog lover
● Pick up after dogs
● Support with short dog walks when requested
Additional duties which may be requested:
● Special request local shopping
● Support with events – preparation & set up, basic food preparation, post event clean up While away:
● Empty and clean refrigerator, remove any perishable items which will expire during time away
● Clean all appliances
● Make use of time to empty cupboards, sort and clean inside
● Deep cleaning of floors & polishing, corners, hard to reach areas● Organizing closets – clothing, shoes, accessories, and wash/air/hang outside if necessary
● Organizing of all linens, towels – make sure all folded/hung and lined up
● Clean Windows/Mirrors
Office Support Duties:
● Steaming/Ironing of Sample Clothing/Production Pieces
● Washing sample pieces and any damaged inventory
● Support with Inventory Organization (Helping in the storage ie: moving or organizing)
● Filling skincare jars/shampoo bottles if needed
● Helping to pack bags for travel
● Breaking down boxes and bringing to the recycling out back
● Helping with Repackaging
