About Us:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our cleaning team and assist in maintaining the pristine condition of a large, high-end home. Our ideal candidate is professional, trustworthy, and takes pride in their work, ensuring every corner of the home reflects the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. You will work closely with the other housekeeper, chef, au pair and security team. Please love dogs and puppies, the family has two! Parents are busy working, and the children are school aged.

Key Responsibilities:

– General Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry areas. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
– Deep Cleaning: Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and upholstery care, to maintain a fresh and inviting environment.
– Organization: Organize household items and ensure that all spaces are tidy and well-maintained. Assist in managing household inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and pantry items.
– Specialized Care: Handle high-end materials and furnishings with care, following proper cleaning protocols for delicate items such as fine china, artwork, and luxury fabrics.
– Laundry Duties: Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
– Errands: Run errands as needed, which may include grocery shopping and picking up supplies.
– Communication: Maintain open communication with the house manager and homeowners regarding cleaning schedules, preferences, needed repairs, touch ups and more.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in high-end residential settings.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
– Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
– Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the ability to use specialized cleaning products and equipment.
– Trustworthiness and discretion, with a strong understanding of maintaining confidentiality in a private home.
– Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and the ability to lift and carry items as needed.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

The 6,500 square foot home is in Hancock Park and the family is comprised of a couple, one teenager, two dogs and two cats. The schedule is Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday from 9 10:00am to 5 6:00pm and duties are cleaning, light cooking and food prep, home organization and occasional driving to pick up the 15 year old from school in Santa Monica. Fully staffed home in the Palisades seeks Friday Housekeeper. The schedule is somewhat flexible. It could be 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm every Friday. Pay is $35 hour, net. There are three children in the home — no pets. The family has a M-Th Housekeeper so the home is maintained beautifully.

Couple with a 10-month old baby seek experienced Housekeeper (minimum 10 years experience) who is legally authorized to work in the U.S. to handle overall cleaning and light cooking as needed. There are three extremely friendly dogs (ranging in size from small to large) so candidates should be dog-friendly and comfortable handling larger dogs because feeding all three pooches and letting them in and out will be part of HK’s responsibilities.
