We are on the search for a GREAT Houseman Maintenance professional for a terrific client with two beautiful homes — one in Malibu and one in Brentwood. The bulk of your time will be spent on the Malibu property, but there will be occasional needs in Brentwood, so flexibility around that will be much appreciated. The perfect candidate works well with a team, and independently. Some handyman skills are necessary, and candidates should be able to work with the gardeners as well to ensure that the property is always looking beautiful! Care for all outdoor furniture, walkways, and windows plus handling small tasks to projects as needed are also important duties. The schedule is either M-F or Tues-Sat from 9am to 5pm OR 9:30am to 5:30pm. The starting compensation is $40 hour plus medical health insurance and a state provided 401k plan. The perfect candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a private home, be able to manage a home as if it was her own and be ready to wear many different hats. This lovely couple and their two year old daughter would love to find a housekeeper who is bilingual and who likes to cook, values family, likes kids and likes dogs. The property also houses the husbands business bungalow where his office is so there are people coming and going often. They want the housekeeper to be able to meet vendors when they come to fix things or tend to the property and greet any guests or business associates. Must have a great attitude, be proactive and excellent housekeeping and communicating skills.
This job is M-F 9-5 with some flexibility.

A family in Brentwood is seeking another Housekeeper to join their team. Their home is about 9k square feet and is moderately formal. The schedule is full time with weekends. Housekeeper will have two consecutive weekdays off. (Alternatively, the schedule could be Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday.) Duties are full-charge housekeeping and laundry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, professional and is a team player — willing to do whatever is needed to help out in a busy house, and is knowledgable with caring for antiques, art silver, crystal and etc. Must also be comfortable helping with entertaining, and helping with dogs and children as needed (the children are older). Please have your own car and be able to drive and run errands. Travel to other homes at times may be required.
This is a household in which flexibility and teamwork are appreciated so the ideal candidate is one who is accustomed to wearing many hats and is happy and confident with helping in other areas beyond cleaning. The housekeepers currently tag team with Mom and the Nanny and everyone chips in wherever and whenever needed. Must pass background check, clean driving record, and sign an NDA.
Compensation: competitive hourly pay, depending on experience, paid time off and health insurance.
