EXEC. HOUSEKEEPING POSITION

We are looking for a LEAD Housekeeper for a very busy and high profile family in the W. side. There are three Housekeepers (including the new hire) and a Houseman on the Housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate can liaise with the Principals, run errands and manage the existing team. We are looking for an experienced Estate Housekeeper who is diplomatic and has managed people in a previous role. This person will need to be comfortable delegating and will be expected to be somewhat flexible. The family is OOT for up to six weeks per year during which time the Housekeepers are paid their full salary but don’t have to work as many hours as usual. This is a generous family who pays well hourly and offers health benefits, paid time off and discretionary bonus.

We are hiring the best executive housekeeper to support and join a warm and friendly family in LA and OC.
We are looking for someone who is fluent in English, a self-starter, passionate about organizing and helping the family with a variety of tasks relating to housekeeping.    This is a busy but very varied role, you will primarily be based in OC with occasional time spent in LA, flexibility is essential.
You will work as part of a team of two housekeepers and will be required to take direction but also work as a team.  You will report directly to the principal.
Details:
•    Hourly rate is DOE
o    Additional compensation for any work over and above regular working hours (rarely will overtime be required and if required it will always be discussed and approved firstly)
o    Hours to be discussed with the principal
•    Discretionary quarterly performance based bonus applies to a job well done
•    Paid PTO offered

This Principal wants the best- searching for the most meticulous housekeeper in the Bay Area! For the perfect person, the client is willing to relocate. You would be the perfect fit if you have extreme attention to detail, strong deep cleaning skills, and experience in low-traffic, refined homes. The Principal is not on-site daily, so most of the work is performed independently, not reactively. You must be able to articulate their process, systems, and preferred products. Closet hangers are spaced exactly one inch apart, facing the same direction, and the correct clothes are on the associated hanger. YES, they want you to have extreme attention to detail! You should know how to iron sheets, polish silver, clean antiques and art work, as well as keep the home looking like a 5 star hotel. Please have experience working in a 15,000 plus sq foot home in a team of housekeepers and you will be reporting to the Estate Manager, who we LOVE! This is a formal home and a uniform is required! A wonderful family has had one housekeeper for 30 years and another for 8 years (so loyal and lovely!!) is looking for a housekeeper to work Saturday and Sunday, This adult family has 5 doggies that mean the world to them – esp because their children have graduated college. The lady of the house loves to cook, so not only should you love doggies, but please enjoy prepping, setting a gorgeous table, and helping when needed. The family is lovely and the housekeeper should be wonderful with laundry, have a sunny attitude, and be a meticulous cleaner.
The hours are typically 10-6 or flexible if you need other hours. They would love someone that loves organizing! Their person is going back to the her country by the end of September so we have some time. They do dinners Sunday night at the house with their family. A plus would be if you like to cook!

We are helping our client find an amazing executive housekeeper that can work Tuesday-Saturday in their UES townhome. You will work alongside another housekeeper, a house manager, a chef and a driver. Must be an excellent team player!! This job requires you to travel upstate once per week to care for the home…you can return home the same day. Transportation will be covered for you to get there and back. You should also be flexible to work in the Hamptons and rotate days each week with the other housekeeper. The UES townhome is 5 floors with an elevator. Please have a great understanding of laundry and ironing as that is part of this role. Most days, staff lunch is included, depending on the chefs work load. Your hours in the city will be 830-430 or 9-5. The house manager creates a daily and weekly cleaning schedule for you to follow. $45 hour, overtime, health insurance, 2 weeks pto and 5 sick days are being offered for this role.
