MONDAYS, FRIDAYS and SUNDAYS 9-5. These are the days you’ll get to spend helping the sweetest couple who live in Sherman Oaks and go to their Malibu home often. They have a wonderful full time housekeeper that you will support twice a week but Sunday’s you are on your own. Some days may be all about general housekeeping duties, other days mostly ironing or packing and unpacking from the weekend. On days when the couple head to the beach, you’ll be responsible for preparing the house: putting the outdoor cushions out, cleaning the windows, preparing the outdoor deck, making sure all is set up and ready to be enjoyed. Whenever the couple leaves Malibu, you’ll be responsible for the laundry including the linens and leaving the home spotless for the next time. You must be a team player, very flexible and comfortable driving back and forth. You’ll fit right in if you have peaceful energy, a calm demeanor and… love puppies because this job comes with an adorable Standard Poodle puppy who will grow to love you too! Looking for a refined housekeeper with high profile experience and longevity in their positions! There will be 1-2 people living in house at all times. They travel VERY OFTEN so there will be many weeks without anyone in the house. They often have additional family members living there for 1-2 months out of the year. There are other house staffers (chef, assistant, groundsmen, etc) coming in and out throughout the week. There are 2 dogs who go to daycare almost 3 days out of the week, but need extra love and attention when they are here. There is one main household owner, but direction will flow from either: the main owner, a family member, the chief of staff or the assistant on property.  Their will be some occasional clean up after other staff members but this is minimal.
The family appreciates a 5-star hotel-quality level of service, and a quiet zen atmosphere at the house. Hours will likely be 11- 7 but must be flexible. Salary depends on experience!
