Professional Skills
◦ Experienced housekeeper with knowledge on delicate surfaces/finishes, fine art, antiques, furnishings and detail materials to care for art

◦ General housekeeping and deep cleaning, including meticulous quality cleaning, polishing, experience
◦ Assisting with laundry, hand washing and ironing/pressing of clothing, linens and any special care of fine garments
◦ Proactive in reading clothing label, managing and coordinating the dry cleaning if needed
◦ Organization of closets, pantries, drawers and wardrobes
◦ Work with organization systems and follow instructions on maintaining organization
◦ Conduct inventory on home supplies and communicate what is currently available, needed or recommendations for better products

◦ Ideal Days: come on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday (potentially additional if needed)
◦ The client prefers to text this person and have them track what they’ve accomplished in a particular day
◦ Having cleaning schedules for the week would help the Client understand what is supposed to be
◦ Potentially someone to check on the house if the Client is away for a weekend
◦ Lightly oversee workmen when the Client isn’t home
 

The loveliest and most down to earth family is in need of a 30-40 hour per week housekeeper for their 3000 sq foot flat in the Inner Richmond.

The families main priority is to find someone who has a great energy and an “all hands on deck” attitude!

The family is small: mom dad and teenage son and have three dogs.

You should have more than three years professional housekeeping experience, preferably with private estate experience. You must be able to do all the various tasks that could fall under a housekeeper position, including laundry, sorting and tracking dry cleaning, light ironing, beds, baths, kitchens, floors, windows, etc.

Also, there are 2 dogs on site that you will be responsible for helping care for – feeding, walking, cleaning beds, etc. Please be dog friendly.

Some Requirements are:
· You must be computer friendly and email-friendly and able to receive text messages.
· You must be fluent in English and have legal work status in US.
· You must be mature, responsible, and able to pass a background and credit check.
· You must have references we can talk to.
· You must have a clean driver’s license. Driving is, on rare occasions, required for certain chores. Having your own car is also very helpful.
· You must be able to get along well with co-workers, follow complex instructions carefully and be able to satisfy extremely fussy employers.
· You will be reporting to a household manager.
· The salary is hourly with overtime where appropriate.
