When the family is not in residence, the Housekeeper works M-F from 8:00am to 4:00pm. When the family (or guests) are in residence (approximately 90 days per year) the Housekeeper is expected to be completely flexible and may work very long hours for up to eight days in a row. This job pays up to $35/hour on the books and offers tremendous opportunity for overtime pay, double-time pay and other additional compensation. There are no health benefits offered, but there is paid time off. Housekeeper will be expected to work on major holidays if the family is in residence and will be paid double. For most of the year, this position offers three consecutive days off weekly; however, it requires COMPLETE devotion and flexibility when the family is in town. The client will only consider candidates with previous estate experience. You must be able to do all the various tasks that could fall under a housekeeper position, including laundry, sorting and tracking dry cleaning, light ironing, beds, baths, kitchens, floors, windows, etc.

Also, there are 2 dogs on site that you will be responsible for helping care for – feeding, walking, cleaning beds, etc. Please be dog friendly.
