They are a private couple in Las Vegas, Nevada, seeking a hands-on, dedicated House Manager Pet Caretaker to oversee their daily home and property operations while developing a caring and nurturing relationship with their twenty-eight-year-old beloved Cockatoo. This young, early retired couple spends a good deal of time at home and looks forward to spending more time traveling together in the future (without their Cockatoo). When the couple travels, the House Manager is required to live in and perform pet-sitting duties for the Cockatoo. The couple’s home is approximately 6,000 sq feet, has two floors and a pool, and sits on a half-acre lot. This hands-on role will develop efficient work streams, ensure the home is maintained correctly, and perform daily errands and general household duties. The House Manager will proactively oversee and coordinate maintenance and household vendors, including outsourced bi-weekly housekeepers who perform deep cleaning. Prior experience with exotic birds would be ideal but being a true animal lover willing to learn and develop a trusting relationship with the family’s Cockatoo is paramount. The House Manager will report directly to the couple. This is a full time job, Monday-Friday with some over nights when the couple travels.
