If you are looking for great hours, and work from Monday – Friday, this is the job for you. This cool real estate company in SM wants to offer their staff healthy food for breakfast and lunch. They have just finished building out a fabulous kitchen in their office at the beach. It is well equipped, but we are sure that you will be able to put your finishing touches on the office. There are probably 20-30 team members that will be eating from a buffet – mostly healthy but once in a while they would like some comfort food. You will obviously have help!! The principals have three properties – La Quinta, Malibu and Bel Air where the estate manager will be based. They have truly exceptional staff who have been with them for decades and beyond! RESPECT is the secret ingredient in this home. Everyone is respectful and is respected and this MUST stay the same for anyone coming in. Team work is also a must. The perfect estate manager will be HANDS ON and willing to lend a hand whenever and wherever needed. The new estate manager must also LOVE and be comfortable around dogs. There are three; a mini poodle, a labradoodle and a wired fox terrier. This trio will look to you for a walk every day and you will be responsible for taking them to the vet. There are 5 cars and while the houseman washes them, the estate manager takes care of them and sometimes drives the principal to appointments and meetings. The estate manager who will work well in this home is one who can act as a maitre d and greet guests, be able to act as a butler and serve professionally, and have experience managing a home and staff. The estate manager does all the shopping for the house; cleaning products, even wine! We are looking for a clean cut, professional estate manager with at least 5 years of experience in a private home. The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude and will make themselves available if a last minute VIP event comes up. There is no job too small or too big. You must regard your staff as your equal and be respectful and fair. This is such a good job! They will be incredibly discerning of candidates. Our client in the Holmby/Bel Air area is looking for a FT Chef to cook lunch and dinner, either Monday though Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. (The schedule may vary week to week, depending on what’s going on.) Typically, Chef cooks for three-four people (Husband/Wife/Nanny/2-year old child) and occasionally another couple will come by for dinner. This is family cooking — primarily low-salt (for dad), some nut allergies (2-year old) and vegetarian cooking a couple times a week.
