We have a four year old who needs a temp nanny in South Pasadena . Mom has a big job and is currently in town from October 7th- October 18th for work. Her 4 year old son loves to play legos and imaginative games, do art projects , go for walks, and generally just needs someone to help him safely explore his world while mom is in meetings. Hours are 20-30 hours per week … There is an option to continue with the family when they are back in November as they are here more in winter months. We are assisting a wonderful Zen family in their search for a dedicated, experienced, and educated full-time nanny to care for their toddler . The family values mindfulness, balance, and education and is looking for someone who can nurture these principles while fostering the child’s developmental needs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, with expertise in infant and toddler milestones. They will provide a nurturing, stimulating, and balanced environment that aligns with the family’s mindful approach to parenting. The nanny must also be fluent in Spanish, to support the baby’s bilingual growth.
Hours will be 9 am to 6 pm ish
It would be a bonus if you speak Spanish
Family pays on the books and is open to giving health insurance

Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, loving care for the baby, addressing both emotional and developmental needs.
Ensure the baby is meeting developmental milestones through structured and engaging activities.
Plan and participate in educational and physical activities (e.g., My Gym, baby classes, at-home stimulation).
Travel with the family, both domestically and internationally, as needed.
Manage daily routines including feeding, naps, and playtime, with a focus on consistency and mindfulness.
Oversee water-related activities, ensuring the baby’s safety during swimming or pool time.
Qualifications:

Prior experience working with high-profile families, with discretion and professionalism.
Knowledge of child development, particularly infant and toddler milestones.
Fluency in Spanish to support the child’s bilingual learning.
Strong swimming ability to supervise and participate in water activities.
Organized, reliable, and adaptable to meet the family’s lifestyle and dynamic needs.
Willingness to travel and be flexible with schedule changes when necessary.
Schedule to Benefits:

Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM (12-hour shifts).
Compensation includes payroll and overtime according to California law.
