Our client is a dynamic family with four wonderful children: a 5 year old in kindergarten, a 3 year old in preschool, and 10 month old twins who have their own dedicated nanny. Both parents work full time — mom’s in the tech space, and dad is in sales. Both parents occasionally work from home but plan to increase their time in the office and may travel frequently. They love to balance work with family fun and enjoy travel to destinations like Mexico and Italy.

Schedule:
– Core Hours: Monday – Friday, 11am – 6pm
– Evenings: Two nights per week until 8:30pm
– Flexibility: Occasional weekends and travel (not required but appreciated)

Benefits:
– 10 days paid vacation, and paid holidays
– Paid sick days

We’re looking for someone with strong family instinct, boundless energy, and who can bring warmth and positivity to the household. A nanny who brings enthusiasm, structure, and joy into children’s lives.

Responsibilities:
• Care for the 5 year old and 3 year old after school (pick up around 2:30pm)
• Drive to activities like karate, art, and sports; foster their interests in swimming, theater, and more
• Engage with them in educational, creative, and active play
• Swim with the kids! (must be a strong swimmer)
• Grocery shopping, running errands, and managing household essentials
• Prepare daily lunch and dinners (familiarity with simple, healthy meals like chicken, vegetables, salmon, and rice—recipes provided)
• Keep common areas tidy, particularly the toy room and kitchen, and help with car organization
• Occasionally help with weekend activities and travel preparation if needed

Please have:
• At least 3-5 years of experience, ideally with multiple children or preschoolers; a parent is a plus
• A creative mindset and love for engaging with young children, with a talent for creating enriching experiences
• Strong swimming skills: be comfortable supervising the kids in the family’s pool
• Great organizational skills: takes initiative in household tasks, with a natural instinct for jumping in when needed and thinking ahead
• Flexibility: Available for occasional evenings and weekends, and willing to travel on family trips if desired
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and familiarity with LA’s neighborhoods. A minivan is provided for use during work hours

*The family is offering guaranteed pay for 35 hours a week, $35-40 an hour, DOE*

If you’re a proactive, nurturing person with a talent for helping families thrive, we’d love to meet you!
