Family is looking for mornings to afternoons, about 20-30 hours a week, with flexibility for overnight and travel opportunities. there is PTO and sick days, monthly medical benefits, and travel stipends. Family prefers nannies to be educated in a relevant field (Child Development, etc), and be experts with the Montessori or Reggio philosophies of child care, growth, and development. There are two kids,; a 5 year old boy and 3 year old girl. They both go to a private school full-time most of the year, so we’re focused on morning hours from 5:30 – 6:00 AM starts until about 12:30 or 2:30 PM, but we’re flexible and this is negotiable with the right candidate. Schedule is Wednesday through Saturday or Monday – Thursday
They would love the nanny to be available to travel. Nanny will get a travel rate and a health stipend. Additionally, the family pays for all meals for the nanny.

Our wonderful client is in need for compassionate, patient, kind and interesting to talk to caregivers. He lives in his adult daughter’s back house to be close to family. However the daughter is a busy working professional, as is her husband, and kids are busy in school.

So we are looking to fill day shifts during the week and weekend, to get Grandpa the love and care he deserves!

The shifts will start with 8 hours a day, but could increase to 10-12 hours a day as his dementia gets harder. Please let us know which days you are able to work.

The family also has a large, friendly, dog so please be comfortable with a busy family environment as Grandpa does go to the main house for meals and family time.

We would love to find someone that enjoys playing board games, taking Grandpa out to interesting lunches, being able to take notes at a doctor’s appointment, make him simple and healthy meals, tidy up the back house and be a responsible, reliable caregiver the whole family can count on.

Your days will start at the family home in Beverly Hills. You’ll help with whatever projects or organizing is needed. Then you’ll drive the family SUV to pick up the girls from school (they are in elementary and middle school,) and then drive them to horseback riding lessons. Finally, you’ll drive them back home for dinner, and the nighttime routine.

This family loves to travel, but might only ask you to come with them a couple times a year now that the girls are older and are more independent. You should love working with a close knit team as they do have a chef, and two housekeepers. Please also love dogs, they have 4 🙂

Dad works a lot and is in and out of the house. He’s one of the most organized humans you’ll ever meet, and the family would love to hire a great nanny family assistant who geeks out with organizing.
