Amazing Nanny Opportunity in Palos Verdes

Filled

Posted : 01/16/26

We are thrilled to share this wonderful nanny opportunity with a truly kind, grounded family in Palos Verdes. This warm household includes a working dad, a stay-at-home mom, and two exceptionally bright little boys — a curious 3-year-old and an engaging 8-month-old. They are looking for a stable, smart, loving nanny who can help keep their boys stimulated, engaged, and growing.

Because both parents are originally from the East Coast and don’t have family nearby, they are hoping to find a true partner — someone who can step in as a steady, competent set of extra hands. Dad’s work schedule is demanding, and Mom is very much looking for a co-pilot who can help her navigate the days with confidence, warmth, and great instincts.

The family has a weekly cleaning service, but light household support (kids’ laundry, tidying, simple meal prep) would be deeply appreciated. They are still finalizing the exact schedule, but are considering either:
• Three long days toward the end of the week plus perhaps one shorter weekend day, or
• A part-time schedule that works for both Nanny and Mom — TBD

They would love to find someone open to traveling with the family, likely twice per year, and someone comfortable with occasional overnights if Mom and Dad travel without the children. Whenever possible, the family would like the nanny to take her PTO during times when they are traveling.

The ideal candidate is:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experienced with strong longevity in previous roles and experience with infants to school-aged children
• Warm, engaging, and highly reliable
• Comfortable driving and ideally located near Palos Verdes
• Flexible, proactive, and excited to become part of a loving, dynamic household
• Equipped with stellar references

Compensation: $35–$40 hour (pending payroll vs. off-the-books confirmation) plus PTO.

If interested, please reach out to katie@thehelpcompany.com — thank you!

Part Time Chef Needed in Palos Verdes

Filled

Posted : 01/14/26

We are thrilled to share a wonderful opportunity to work with a truly lovely family in Palos Verdes! This household includes a couple and their two young boys. The family follows a gluten-free, healthy diet due to the father’s celiac disease, and they are seeking a reliable, skilled chef for a hybrid cooking role once a week.

The chef will cook and serve a fresh meal in the home, and will also prepare additional meals for the week that the family can easily enjoy later. This is a hands-on cooking day rather than a pure drop-off role.

To start, the family would like to commit to one month. It’s very likely they will continue afterward, but for now, the initial agreement will cover the first month so everyone can make sure the rhythm and fit feel just right.

The ideal candidate will prepare clean, simple, healthy meals that are flavorful, safe, and fully gluten-free. This is a wonderful opportunity to cook for a family who truly values nutritious, thoughtfully prepared food.

The ideal candidate is:
• Experienced in gluten-free cooking, ideally with celiac clients
• Warm, reliable, and highly organized
• Equipped with stellar references and a clear background
• Based in or near Palos Verdes

Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience

To Apply: Please send an updated resume and your hourly rate to help@thehelpcompany.com.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thoughtful family who appreciates consistency, quality, and a love of healthy, delicious food!

Sherman Oaks Los Angeles • Full Time • $100–$120k DOE

A wildly successful young content creator—whose business has skyrocketed over the past year—is looking for a sharp, agile Executive Assistant to join her growing team. Her world is fast-paced, dynamic, and expanding quickly, and she needs a polished EA with strong corporate experience to bring structure, clarity, and top-tier organization to her business operations.

She already has a Personal Assistant who handles personal tasks, errands, and appointments. Your role will be strictly business-focused: inbox management, scheduling, outreach, coordination with her representation, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks as her career continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary gatekeeper for all inbound and outbound communication
• Manage a high-volume inbox and streamline information flow so the Principal only sees what she needs
• Draft polished, articulate emails and correspondence to anyone in her professional orbit
• Schedule meetings, calls, shoots, travel-related logistics, and business obligations
• Partner closely with her attorney, agent, and industry team (including Michael Meschures and his team)
• Attend select business meetings with the Principal and help keep her prepared and organized
• Create and maintain systems for tracking projects, deliverables, deadlines, and priorities
• Ensure smooth communication between the Principal and all collaborators, brands, and partners
• Interface professionally with executives, brands, and industry leaders
• Support a rapidly expanding business operation with efficiency, clarity, and discretion
• Travel as needed and be available for shoots, meetings, or special projects

Who You Are

• A polished, seasoned EA (corporate experience highly preferred)
• Tech-savvy and nimble — comfortable with spreadsheets, project-management tools, and learning new software
• Exceptionally organized; nothing slips through the cracks
• Clear and articulate communicator, both written and verbal
• Able to manage high volume, shifting priorities, and a fast-changing schedule
• Mature, emotionally intelligent, and able to work with a young, high-achieving creative talent
• Hungry, agile, and excited to grow with an exploding brand
• Local to Los Angeles; hybrid schedule with some in-person work required
• Comfortable occasionally traveling or joining the Principal on shoots or meetings

Compensation to Details

• Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 DOE
• Full-time role
• Hybrid schedule; must be LA-based
• Benefits PTO to be confirmed with the client

If you thrive in fast-paced creative environments, love building systems, and can keep a skyrocketing business running smoothly behind the scenes, this is an incredible opportunity to support a young powerhouse whose career is on a remarkable upward trajectory.

We are only considering candidates with a minimum of 3–5 years of previous EPA experience with a high-profile employer, a clean background, and stellar references. Reach out if you fit the bill and are interested!
