We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and energetic nanny to care for our two wonderful boys, ages 4 and 1 (both turning 2 and 5 in March, just two weeks apart!). The ideal candidate will be full of imagination, enjoy pretend play, and have a love for music, reading, and changing things up to keep the kids engaged and entertained. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from organizing playdates to ensuring the safety and well-being of our little ones, and more.

Responsibilities:
Full-Time Care: Oversee the children from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, ideally working a 9-hour day.
Engaging Play: Foster creativity through pretend play, arts and crafts, music, games, and outdoor activities.
Safety First: Ensure the children’s safety at all times, with a strong focus on creating a secure environment both at home and on outings.
Cooking to Laundry: Prepare meals for the boys, handle their laundry, and tidy up toys and their bedrooms.
Playdates: Arrange and manage playdates, helping them develop social skills.
Full Charge: Be a proactive and responsible caregiver who can manage the children’s daily activities and routines independently.
Travel: Flexibility to travel with the family 2-3 times a year, including destinations such as Spain, England, and Mexico.
Pool to Swimming: Supervise swimming sessions at home and ensure safety around the pool.
Occasional Extended Hours: Be available to stay late or work on weekends when needed.

Requirements:
Experience: at least 5plus years of previous nanny experience, with a background in caring for toddlers and young children.
Energetic to Fun: A passion for engaging in imaginative play, singing, reading, and creative activities.
Fluent in Spanish: Must be bilingual, as mom speaks Spanish, and they want the children to be exposed to both languages.
Responsible to Trustworthy: A reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious caregiver.
Pet-Friendly: Willingness to help with a potential new dog in the household.
Flexible Schedule: Ability to work late hours or weekends as needed, with occasional travel flexibility.
Location: The family is based in Malibu, where the oldest child will begin school soon.

The family is looking for a wonderful, warm, kind and a bit reserved Nanny who can commit long term. The hours will start with Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm most days, with the flexibility to stay late for a date night here and there, and be able to work some Saturdays.

Our client has three children — a son in 2nd grade, and 3.5 year old twins. They employ a team of two Nannies who rotate four days on and four days off. One week, you work Monday through Thursday, and the following week — the schedule will be bumped up a day — Tuesday through Friday — then Wednesday through Saturday, and so forth. This means that depending on where each Nanny is in the rotation — she will either work one day per weekend, both days per weekend or no weekend days.

The family travels about 10 times a year, and 2-3 of the trips are international, so this is a position for a Nanny who loves to travel, and is able to travel both domestically and internationally.

The typical hours are 11:30am to 7:30 on the weekdays, and 8:30am-7:30pm on the weekend days, with a 40-hour week guarantee. There is a full-time Housekeeper, but the Nannies are expected to help keep the house tidy, especially while the kids are in school. Also of note — the family has a large dog, so applicants should be pet friendly.

This is a position for an experienced Nanny who enjoys traveling, is a team player, and can be FLEXIBLE. The family pays $40 hour on payroll with overtime pay as required plus a stipend for health insurance and paid time off.
