Amazing and creative working parents with a darling 7-year old daughter in the Silverlake Echo Park area seek a full-time Family Assistant. Mom sees clients a couple days a week and is hands-on the other days. The typical schedule is M-F from around 10:00am to 6:00pm with flexibility to come earlier on days school drop-off is required. Duties are school pick-up, cooking for the child, marketing, organizing the family calendar, scheduling assisting Mom plus Dad as needed, keeping the house stocked plus so much more! Hourly pay via payroll plus a stipend for health, PTO to mileage reimbursement per IRS.gov guidelines. (Family Assistant will drive child in his her own car.) You will promptly pick-up and drop-off Principals, and guests, collect, greet, and assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle. Anticipate and execute all the Principals’ real-time requests while transporting. Assist passengers with their luggage, bags, and possessions. Handle items with care ensuring they are properly secured during vehicle movement. Ensure passengers’ identities and conversations remain confidential. Always comply with road regulations to keep passengers safe. Practice defensive driving. Develop and maintain an interior exterior cleaning schedule for regular and deep cleaning for all vehicles. Manage and schedule routine services and all maintenance appointments. Ensure maintenance is scheduled within prescribed time periods. Create and maintain a Preference Log for Principals. Ensure that each vehicle is stocked with the Principals desired beverages, personal items, device chargers, cleaning products, emergency supplies, etc. Oversee inventory of vehicle supplies and ensure all inventories are organized and current. Coordinate deliveries between the residences and the office or other locations as requested. Shop for household items and run errands, and perform other duties as needed. You are perfect for this job if you have at least 3 years of expereince as a Private Driver, expert knowledge of the local environment (i.e., roads, neighborhoods, highways, and bridges), ability to work during evenings, long hours, and on weekends, as required. This family is looking for a Driver who is warm, polished, poised, intuitive, respectful, calm, and collaborative by nature. Someone who is exceptionally organized, intelligent, dynamic, confident, natural multi-tasker, resourceful, and service hearted. And must have the ability to accommodate a non-traditional work schedule and remain flexible to meet the family’s needs. This is an incredible client we have known for years. They are currently in Brentwood, but moving to West Hollywood at the beginning of 2024.

They have one hypoallergenic dog who is sweet and older that one of the other housekeepers is in charge of. The children are in college, and come home on breaks.
