This truly beautiful family is looking for a nanny to love and care for their kids like her own. Mom and dad both work and really want to find a nanny that will take initiative, be smart, proactive, fun, responsible and resourceful. They just said good bye to their ‘super nanny’ of 4 years who moved out of state. Kids are 2.5 and 5 and ADORABLE!!! And.. mom is expecting twins in November. The twins will have their own nanny for a while so for now, it’s mostly the older two. Schedule is M-F 7:30-5:30 with flexibility to stay later or stay with the kids if mom is out of town working. The nanny they are looking for must speak excellent English, be able to text, have a car and excellent driving record, be able to cook most importantly love love and love their kids and keep them safe. Our client is now 94 and has two wonderful caregivers who have been looking after him for the past few years. He needs to add another helper or two to the team as the care required has become more labor intensive. He’s very sweet with a loving family and a lovely condominium in Pasadena. The ideal candidate is clear, calm, super organized, fully vaccinated and level-headed — and can coordinate care and liaise with the family. Caregivers are up every two hours around-the-clock because client needs to be repositioned regularly. He’s diabetic, on a g-tube, and has hypo-tension, incontinence and is unable to assist in moving himself at the moment. There is a Hoyer lift available. There’s also a concierge doctor on-call 24 hours a day and the home environment is supportive to relaxed. In addition to caregiving, some help with keeping the condo. tidy and stocked will be appreciated. Applicants must be fully vaccinated to be considered.

This Family is looking for a flexible, fun, professional and creative Family Assistant Mother’s Helper. This is a full-time position. The pay is $30-35 an hour, plus OT and health insurance. The hours are M-F from 11am to 7:30pm. The family has housekeepers, but this person must be willing to pitch in as needed and be okay with loading a dishwasher.

You will be providing support and assistance to the family in managing their daily activities. The specific duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the family on any given day and include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Household: Tasks such as grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, setting the table, laundry, cleaning, making beds, clean up after meals and organizing the home.

2. Childcare: Providing care and supervision for the children, including assisting with homework, driving them to and from school and or activities, planning, researching and organizing age-appropriate activities, summer camp, school enrollment.

3. Personal assistance: Assisting family members with personal tasks such as scheduling appointments, running errands, gift purchases and wrapping

4. Administration tasks: Assisting with administrative tasks such as managing calendars, and coordinating with service providers or vendors. Assist home office with ad hoc duties and house office crossover related tasks

5. Pet care: feeding fish from time to time, potential dog help

6. Household management: Work hand in hand with house manager to ensure the house is running smoothly. Assist with supervision of trades

7. Travel arrangements: Work with assistants to ensure all pertinent information is provided to the family and noted in the calendar. Make sure transportation is confirmed and the family has all necessary documents and paperwork is in order

8. Event planning: Assist with planning and organizing family events, such as birthdays, holidays, special occasions. Candidate should be comfortable greeting guests and assisting with all event related activities.

9. Personal shopping: Assisting with shopping for household supplies, clothing and other personal items

10. Miscellaneous tasks: Assisting with other tasks or responsibilities as requested by the family

The ideal candidate for the family assistance position should have excellent organizational and time management skills, be reliable and trustworthy, and have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and work schedule. They should have strong communication skills, as they will be working closely with the family and other staff members.

Job Title: House Manager
Responsible to: Estate manager

Purpose:
You will be responsible for working with the already established house team and assisting with all interior home management and assisting with all hospitality, service and event planning.
It will be your job to work alongside the house managers to encourage, inspire and develop the house team to work to a very high standard within an environment that embraces the values of honesty, integrity, teamwork and helpfulness.

The position will include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks:

• Working alongside the House Manager to ensure a calm, organized home environment at all times
• Assist with overseeing interiors at Principles’ residences: ensuring consistency of standards procedures and services
• Assisting in maintaining the house for guest readiness, welcoming guests and serving as needed
• Assist in maintaining all inventories and stocking lists
• Assist in oversight of the master closet, including organization, dry cleaning, laundry and packing.
• Assist with organization of all in home closets, drawers and staff areas
• Assist with all home projects as needed
• Assist with scheduling household services and providing prior notification to team and guard on site
• Assist with planning, executing and serving special dinners, events and all social events
• Assist in ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained
• Provide administrative support and assist with home office duties, including answering phones, copying, filing, researching, sending emails and preparing items for all managers
• Backup assist runners as needed
• Assist with packing, shipping and organization of items: luggage, cargo and returning purchased items
