Thirty hours a week perfectionist assistant needed for our client with a car collection in Santa Monica

We are looking for a fantastic assistant to assist the manager of a high end car collection for our client. The office is based in Santa Monica. The idea person is extremely organized and a self proscribed perfectionist who has an interest in cars. You will work with the fleet management team to keep files organized digitally, upload documents, track services, submit invoices, and then file in physical folders. The role will expand to cataloging memorabilia, posters, equipment, etc. You will also assist with parts ordering, inventory management, errands, etc. You will communicate with the Fleet Manager as well as the Estate Manager, so you should be comfortable managing many priorities as once, and pivoting throughout your day. This is a wonderful client that we’ve been so lucky to help over the years, and know first hand it’s an excellent place to work.

This role is 30 hours a week, during business hours, Monday-Friday.

Schedule will be mostly Monday-Friday, from about 9am-5 6pm. The family likes their privacy, so other than some events here and there, you will not be staying late. This position will have you going to manage construction, oversee rental properties, oversee budgets, schedule personal appointments, research and more. This executive assistant will support the needs of the household, properties, and business. The Role:
The Executive Assistant role is instrumental in making things happen and ensuring that projects run smoothly, are on time, and within budget. The role will straddle both personal and professional projects, interfacing with the families’ properties, consultants, service providers, as well as the family business.

On-site Position
Full Time (40 hours week), Non-Exempt to Hourly.

What you’ll be doing:
• Managing construction projects for various properties
• Managing rents and repairs for various properties
• Writing emails and following up on projects
• Working to sell and procure furniture and supplies for various properties
• Communicating to project stakeholders
• Paying contractors and service providers
• Going through weekly mail and emails
• Shipping and receiving small items
• Picking up tasks that help the family and business run more efficiently

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 years supporting an executive assistant
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; professional demeanor, positive outlook, and a can-do attitude
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines deliverables
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• A calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpected and respond to shifting priorities
• Positive approach and willingness to learn new programs and systems when necessary
• Complete reliability handling confidential information
• Positive and committed to team success; ability to build solid relationships
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Eastside Temp nanny needed for two adorable kids starting early September

One of our favorite nannies is getting married and needs coverage for her FT family. We are looking for someone special who is in between jobs and wants to make some extra income. Family will pay hourly. The schedule is Monday- Friday 1:30 pm 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm 7:00 pm. The 3 year old boy and 6 year old girl are both in school during the day. Temp nanny would start their day at the house in Los Feliz Oaks, grab snacks for the kiddos and head out to do the pick up rounds. The afternoon hours go quick because the kids have a pretty set schedule and routine. Once home from school, 1st grader does homework and then they get 1 episode of TV together. Temp will be responsible for an easy dinner – no shame on freezer foods in this house. After dinner its bath and jammies. There are also a few afternoons where there will be after school activities, which are TBD pending the beginning of the school year enrichment signups. The dates would be starting Tuesday September 5th and ending ( probably) Tuesday September 26 th . You potentially could go until Friday September 29th… please be flexible!
