This has the option of turning into a full time position, if it goes well! The family does not have many dietary restrictions, so they really like to see the chef make magic in the kitchen! The role is M-F, lunches and dinners. It is best to assume you will always be cooking for 4 people, as well as a staff lunch M-F. The kitchen is in the center of the home, so a calm and quiet personality works best for this family (totally fine to put your headphones in and do your thing!). The son is in his mid 20s and on the spectrum, and the father is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. They are looking for someone 2-3 days week, flexible on the amount of hours.

All house manager duties – running errands, grocery shopping, restocking, tech support as needed, some meal prep, bill pay, scan bills in and send to family office, oversee vendors, general tidying of home, etc.

Duties also needed for this role – accompanying the Mr to any doctor’s appointments and taking notes, scan bills and send back to his family office as needed, reminding the Mr and son to take his medication and following up to ensure that he did, helping the son with any cognitive exercises sent over by therapists doctors

The perfect housekeeper will be a self starter, knows how to stay organized and make a cleaning schedule and understands that the Mr works from home so you should know when to be quiet and not clean around him. There might be times that the nanny needs a break, so they will ask you to hold the baby..please be okay with this! When all the kids are in the home, mom might ask you to make a simple meal (baked chicken, pasta, soups etc). You should speak English well so the Mr can communicate if he needs something, be very organized (they love to open cabinets and see everything nicely organized), be a team player and know how to stay focused and get your zones cleaned! You will need to prepare dinner 3-5 days per week, snacks, fridge food and some weeks there will be dinner parties and Shabbat dinners.
