Schedule
Approx. 15 hours per week
Monday–Thursday: approx. 3:00–6:00 PM
Friday: approx. 2:00–5:00 PM
Opportunity for additional evening and weekend hours over time

Responsibilities
Pick up children from school
Supervise homework and after-school routines
Engage in playtime and activities
Safely transport children to after-school activities
Prepare snacks and simple meals
Light straightening up, organizing, and folding children’s laundry

Ideal Candidate
Genuinely great with kids — patient, kind, and dependable
Comfortable with a high-energy 6-year-old who loves sports (throwing footballs baseballs, kicking
soccer balls, etc.)
Organized and able to keep afternoons running smoothly
Enjoys being active and engaged with children

A Palisades family with two girls, ages 9 and 11, is seeking part-time help from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through the end of May or early June (when school ends).

The day begins at noon with light household support, including simple cooking such as after-school snacks and basic dinner prep. In the afternoon, you’ll pick the girls up from their two different schools, drive them to activities, and get them home in time for dinner.
• Activities: Tuesdays to Thursdays
• Wednesdays: School pick-up and light cooking only

You will use your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for gas and mileage according to current IRS mileage guidelines. Compensation is hourly, DOE.

You have to be really comfortable driving around the city. The girls are soccer players, so they could be having a game in El Segundo, and or Irvine. You just never know!! So, driving is the job!!! The kids are wonderful they are 10 and 15 and love to engage!! The family still has a great dane and a st bernard so part of the job is taking care of the cute dogs – So hopefully you are dog friendly!! 40 gross an hour.

A wonderful Santa Monica family is looking for a fun-loving, hands-on, playful nanny to join their crew! Mom is a busy, warm stay-at-home parent to two darling, energetic children: a curious 3.5-year-old and a sweet 16-month-old, and she’s hoping to find a true partner-in-parenting and all-around playmate for the kids.

This is not a sit-on-the-sidelines role. This job is about getting down on the floor, jumping into imaginative play, crafting, baking, reading stacks of books, and making each day feel like camp.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm and each day is a little different in the best way! Some days you will be with the older child while Mom is with the toddler and other days, you’ll switch it up! Duties include pre-school drop-offs and pick-ups, crafts, baking projects, outdoor adventures, nap routines and lots and lots of hands-on play!

The ideal Nanny is college educated, has a clean driving record, excellent references and truly loves playing, reading and engaging children. A background as a preschool teacher would be a huge plus! Hopefully you are open to traveling 2-3 times a year for up to a week.

Compensation is $35 hour, DOE plus a $200 month health insurance stipend and paid time off.
