Live In Nanny Needed Two Weekends Per Month for Single Dad in Westwood

Open

Posted : 06/25/26

We are helping a single dad find a warm, reliable part-time nanny for his two little girls, ages 3 and 6. Custody arrangements are currently being hammered out and the situation is fluid. At present, he has roughly ten overnights per month. The primary commitment for the Nanny is every other weekend, from Friday around 4:00 PM through Monday morning at 9:00 AM, with live-in coverage required. There are also four additional nights per month (typically two Mondays from about 3:00 PM through Tuesday morning plus two other weeknights) and the family would appreciate coverage when possible, though the weekend schedule is the priority here.

Dad would love to find a Nanny who will be helpful with household organization, meal prep cooking, driving, activities, keeping the house stocked and so forth.

Candidates must have proven experience with preschool and early-elementary children, a clean background and excellent references, a valid driver’s license and reliable driving record, and comfort with weekend live-in shifts. The family hopes hours can scale up once custody increases; if you cannot accommodate potential growth in the schedule — that could affect long-term fit, but the situation is uncertain now and the need for every-other-weekend coverage (plus additional nights) will be ongoing for some time.

To apply, please email katie@thehelpcompany.com with your targeted hourly rate.

Thank you!

East Bay family hiring a forever Nanny

Open

Posted : 06/25/26

This is one of my favorite clients, based in Danville and truly a dream family to work with. This is a dynamic, flexible role—not a traditional 9–5 position—best suited for someone confident, proactive, and comfortable supporting both childcare and the rhythm of a busy family life. They have three children (ages 8, 4, and 3 months), and are looking for someone who can bring calm, consistency, and a positive presence into their home. The primary focus will be care for their infant, while also engaging with their older children through play, activities, and structured support when needed. They are a very involved household—mom is often home during the week and dad works from home part-time and travels—so they are looking for someone comfortable working in a collaborative environment with engaged parents. The right person will be proactive, reliable, and confident helping create structure, plan activities, and support daily routines. Flexibility is key, as their schedule varies throughout the week with occasional weekend support and opportunities for travel. From May through October, they are more active with events and travel, while November through March is generally lighter. They need someone experienced in childcare or early childhood education who is warm, grounded, and emotionally steady, with strong communication and professionalism. Above all, they are seeking the right fit—someone who aligns with their family’s energy and values and feels like an extension of their home. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, full benefits!

Nanny who loves babies and travel for wonderful West Hollywood Family

Open

Posted : 06/23/26

This amazing family is looking for their forever nanny who can grow with them! Their baby daughter is 9 months old and they have a sweet Labradoodle who is 15 years old.

Mom works in entertainment – so she’s often at home, out at a meeting, or when she’s filming on set for long hours. Dad works from home and also an office. As Mom and Dad have long days, they are hoping to find a Nanny who can support them with longer days as well. The dream schedule for the family is they will guarantee Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, and would love a nanny who can stay later when needed and some weekends. The family also splits their time right now between LA to the east coast – so the ability to travel is a must! You will spend every other month in NY or Ohio until the rest of the year, and then tbd from there.

Please have a valid Passport, love swimming, have recent First Aid CPR training or be willing to get certified, and it would be a bonus if you speak Spanish! To be considered, please have proven, recent long term experience as a nanny with baby and infant expertise and wonderful references.

Their dream nanny is warm, calm, confident, knowledgeable about milestones, organized, active, tidy, loving, fun and dedicated to loving their daughter and growing with their family. Also a huge bonus if you are a great cook as they’re very into nutritious meals for their little one 🙂 They have a housekeeper who they adore who comes 2x a week to help with cleaning.

The family is offering $40 an hour, DOE plus PTO (vacation, sick days and holidays.)

If you are a nurturing nanny who is dedicated to finding and staying with a family long term, please email naomi@thehelpcompany.com!

Coolest Nanny Opening in Beverly Hills

Open

Posted : 06/15/26

An AMAZING Beverly Hills family is seeking a phenomenal, career-minded Nanny for their two homeschooled children, ages 7 and 9.

This is not your typical nanny position. This is an opportunity to become an important part of a wonderful family and make a meaningful impact on two children’s lives during some of their most formative years.

Dad frequently works out of town for extended periods (sometimes 2–3 months at a time), so finding a Nanny who genuinely enjoys travel and is willing to accompany the family when needed is important. While this is a live-out position, flexibility is key. The family is hoping to find one dedicated Nanny who can commit to them for the next 2–3 years and become a trusted, consistent presence in the children’s lives.

The parents are thoughtful, kind, and exceptionally generous. They believe relationships are reciprocal and that generosity flows both ways. They are looking for someone with a true heart for service and a team-player mentality. More important than years of experience is personality, character, flexibility, and attitude.
Mom explained it best: if there are dishes in the sink, she loves people who naturally jump in and help load the dishwasher. It’s not about the dishes. It’s about finding someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative. They have a housekeeper, so this is not a housekeeping role, but they value people who approach life with a collaborative spirit and an ‘all hands on deck’ mentality.

The children are bright, curious, and homeschooled. Mom currently oversees their education, and the family brings in various teachers, coaches, and specialists. The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting the children’s educational journey while helping provide the structure, consistency, and discipline typically found in a traditional school environment.

This role is equal parts teacher, mentor, role model, and playmate.

The family would love someone who can create engaging intellectual activities, encourage curiosity, establish routines and structure, foster independence and character, swim, play soccer and get the children moving and balance education with fun to play!

If you can create curriculum, that’s amazing. If not, but you’re naturally organized and excellent at creating structure and routines, that’s wonderful too.

Mom is ultimately looking for a mentor. She’d like to find someone with excellent character whose influence on the children’s development will be positive and lasting.

Also important — the family places a strong emphasis on healthy living. The children do not eat processed or packaged foods, so it’s important to find someone who models healthy habits and can help reinforce them. Cooking is not a requirement, but a willingness to help prepare simple, healthy food would be appreciated.
The schedule is somewhat fluid and will evolve with the family’s needs.

The family will guarantee 40 hours per week, although they may not always require all 40 hours to be worked.

Typical hours may include:
• Weekdays: approximately 11:00 AM 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Saturdays: approximately 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Sundays: generally morning hours only, as the parents prefer to spend Sunday with the children

Mom has identified Thursday evening through Sunday morning as particularly important coverage times. The family would also love to find someone willing to spend one overnight per week when needed.
This is a live out position with full time hours guaranteed. Travel is required (could be two to three months if Dad is on a project).

This position is ideal for a Nanny who genuinely loves school-aged children, enjoys being active, embraces flexibility, and views childcare as a profession rather than simply a job. The successful candidate will be warm, intelligent, proactive, adaptable, service-oriented, and deeply invested in helping children grow into capable, kind, and confident young people.

If you are a Nanny with outstanding character, a clean background, a passion for education and child development, a love of travel, and a desire to devote yourself to a truly wonderful family for the next couple of years, we would love to hear from you!

Great Mar Vista family is looking for a big sis to help wrangle the kids in 25 hours a week

Open

Posted : 06/14/26

this busy famiily has two children – a 5 year old girlie girl starting Kinder in the fall and an 8 year old boy rising into 3rd grade. Both will be at Brentwood School.
Mom is the CEO of her own business in the entertainment industry so she knows how to be a great employer and do things by the book.
Mom works from home at their home in Mar Vista and needs someone who can manage the kids after school – ensure homework is done, keep them entertained, shuttle to and from activities, so she can work from home but also pop in for homework help, check-ins on return home from school and more. Dad works in Century City most days, though occasionally from home. Both parents like to be hands on with the kids but needs a nanny counterpart who can navigate this fluidity and be an authority figure to the kids, ideally leading and influence through great role modeling rather than tough love, but able to navigate all dynamics and developmentally-appropriate situations relevant at these ages. We’re hoping to find someone who the kids respect, adore and enjoy. Likewise, we’re hoping for a modern employee who is a third partner with respect to the kids – someone who is a great communicator, thinks a few steps ahead, is flexible and can adapt to the daily variables that come up, and more.
While the role is mostly hands-on with the kids, there will be some maintenance of kids toys, clothes and rooms (ideally with age-appropriate inclusion of getting the kids to maintain their own spaces in order to build good habits). No heavy cleaning, the family has a housekeeper coming 2 days per week. Some minor preparation of kids food – fruit, mac n cheese, etc. Would love someone who is also thought and helpful about expanding the kids palates – the 8 year old is just starting to enjoy exploring some more global dishes and cuisines, and the 5 year old needs thoughtful encouragement to eat more than just cheerios, apples and ketchup day-to-day. LOL

Depending on the right candidate, this role can also evolve into more of a house manager and personal assistant role. They are always willing to give more hours to someone who takes initiative, wants to help, enjoys their work and is a pleasure to have around.

They would like someone with at least two years experience including prior work with at least one other professional or entrepreneurial family with good references is expected. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, punctuality, availability and fit with the skills and traits required of this role. Family hopes for at least one day (but ideally a few days) paid trial to ensure mutual fit.
DOE $35-40 hour on payroll, annual bonus, milage reimbursement OR fully compensated gas on family credit card (up to $70 weekly), 8 days of employee-chosen PTO (including sick days) plus at least 10 days of employer chosen PTO annually, 20 hours per week minimum with opportunity for more hours. Monday to Friday 3pm-7pm weekly will be required, plus will need someone who can stay late at least 2 weeknights per week to cover date night, parents’ social calendars and or parents working late. We’d love someone who can also do some weekends and holiday hours with advance notice coordination well in advance. Opportunity for overtime and incentive pay as well.
