One of my favorite families to work with is needing to hire a second nanny to join their team, you would be so lucky if they chose you:) They are extremely warm, easygoing family and seeking a kind, reliable, and engaging nanny to join their home and work alongside their long-term full-time nanny (with them 8 years). They have three children — ages 7, 3, and 4 months — and are looking for someone who will primarily focus on the two older kids while their current nanny cares more for the baby, though comfort with all ages is important. They are hoping to find someone the kids genuinely enjoy being around — someone warm, fun, and steady, who can balance playfulness with structure and help support their independence and social-emotional growth.
Schedule is approximately 40 hours week, typically Monday–Friday starting around 12:30 PM through 8:00 PM (with occasional evenings until 9:00 PM for flexibility). Responsibilities include preschool pickup, helping manage after-school routines and activities, supporting homework and play, and assisting with dinner, bath, and bedtime. Light child-related tidying, simple healthy meal prep, and occasional kid-related errands are appreciated (we have a house cleaner 5 days week). They are really a collaborative, respectful household and are looking for someone adaptable, easy to get along with, and comfortable working as part of a team. Travel is required (2–3 trips per year, 5–7 days) plus occasional weekends at our Napa home. Looking for someone experienced with multiple age groups who enjoys a busy, positive household. If you are looking to be a Live In Nanny in one of the most beautiful parts of the Bay Area this family would be perfect for you to join. They have a precious 14 month old daughter who will be starting school in August, so you will have a mix of childcare responsibilities and household duties throughout the day. Think maintaining organization and cleanliness of child room, clothes, toys, and personal items. Including their daughter’s dishes, bottles, and anything related to her meals. Your day would start around 8:00am dropping the child off at school. Some days during the week the child will get out of school early, but usually you will have a 3:00pm pick up routine. Mom and dad will step in when you return home and be with their daughter between 3:30-7:00, eat dinner with her, handle bath time, while you are in charge of putting her to bed. They would love a 6 day work week, with Monday’s being your off day. That said, they want to be understanding if working every weekend is too much and can be flexible with your “off day(s)”. They do leave every 6 weeks, and they have a home in Sonoma where they spend a month. Their style is independence – and would love someone to follow their lead. The parents are both entrepreneurs – and at the busiest time of their lives!

Bilingual Nanny and Family Support Needed in Calabasas

A lovely couple in Calabasas is seeking an experienced bilingual nanny (any two languages, one must be English) to look after their adorable 3-year-old son.

The typical daily schedule is M-F from 8am to 2pm or 3pm depending on the day. The minimum guarantee is 30 hours per week, with weeks potentially reaching up to 38 hours or higher during travel periods. Flexibility is required for occasional extended hours and travel weeks.

This is a no-screen home with an emphasis on outdoor play, reading, and creativity! The family also has three friendly french bulldogs, so a genuine dog lover is important.

The key responsibilities include full care and engagement for a 3-year-old boy, planning and preparing simple, healthy family meals (must enjoy cooking), preschool drop-off and pick-up on school mornings, light household support related to the child such as tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and organization, running occasional errands while the child is in preschool, engaging in outdoor play, reading, and developmentally appropriate activities, supporting occasional evening coverage or date nights 3–4 times per month from 6pm to 9pm, and traveling with the family approximately every two months for about one week, during which the Nanny will have her own room.

Please have a clean background, along with strong toddler experience, excellent verifiable references, bilingual ability (any language combination as long as one is English), confidence and enjoyment in cooking, comfort with dogs, and an engaging, proactive approach aligned with a no-screen, hands-on parenting style!
