A lovely Hancock Park family with two elementary-aged children (9 to 7) is seeking a warm, experienced, and reliable Family Assistant to become an integral part of their household. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility to stay later on the occasional evening when a parent is traveling or working late. Occasional weekend babysitting is a big plus, but not required.

The afternoons will be centered around the children, including school pick-up, transportation to activities, homework help, preparing healthy snacks and dinner for the kids, and managing the evening and bedtime routine. Earlier in the day, you’ll help keep the household running smoothly by pitching in wherever needed, assisting with family errands, organization, scheduling, grocery shopping, light meal preparation, and other family assistant duties.

We are looking for someone with at least 2–3 years of professional family assistant experience, excellent references, and a clean background report. Candidates must be confident driving throughout Los Angeles, have a clean driving record, and be comfortable navigating the city. The ideal person is warm, energetic, organized, flexible, proactive, and genuinely enjoys becoming a trusted right hand to a family.

The position pays approximately $45 hour on payroll and includes guaranteed full-time hours, paid time off, and a health insurance stipend.
