Darling young family looking for a kind and loving night nurse to provide care for our newborn, starting at the end of May 2024 (expected due date). The ideal night nurse has significant prior experience with infants and strong references from previous night nurse engagements. Ideally this family expects to work with you for 3plus months. You must be local and live in the beautiful Bay Area:)

Hours
Monday-Friday 9pm to 7am
Additional availability on the weekend appreciated
$50 $60 an hour

Requirements
Proven experience as a night nurse, preferably with newborns
CPR and first aid certification
Excellent communication skills
References from previous employers

Nice to have
Bonus points if you speak Korean fluently

Responsibilities
Ensuring the baby’s well-being, comfort, and safety throughout the night
Feeding (bringing the baby to the mother for breastfeeding or bottle-feeding)
Changing diapers
Soothing the baby back to sleep
Collaborating with the parents and daytime nanny to maintain a consistent routine
Reporting and documenting any changes in the baby’s health or behavior

We are looking for this special, Mary Poppins nanny. Mom is pregnant, due in a few months. She will have a baby nurse the first 2 months, then the baby will transition to the nanny. This is a split family – there are 4 kiddos that come over every week, but go to school. The main focus will be with the new baby until the kids come home from school (every other week they are here). Then, you will have all of the children (2 are teenagers, so pretty self sufficient!) and help this modern day Brady Bunch family function and have a great day, everyday! Mom and Dad are in and out, sometimes working from home. There is also a housekeeper on staff who helps take care of the home. This is an adorable family who is looking for their forever nanny! The other 2 children are 10 and 12, so there will be school pick ups and activity pick ups every other week, making lunches, helping with homework and helping this family out, however they may need it! This exciting actor and family are as busy as any family could be. The dad travels a lot for movies, music, and tours so be passport ready and enjoy the summer on the road!! The three boys are 3.5, 6, and 8 – they are as creative and fun as any boys could be. The love creative play, legos, and climbing trees – not a lot of screen time!! They would love that fun camp counselor or preschool teacher that would enjoy wrangling the kids!!
There is a separate home for you while you are in ojai – the family tries to keep you to an 8-10 hour day except Wednesdays and weekends – so there is a lot of overtime!!
The family has security, so the driver will most likely be taking you wherever you might want to go with the boys – but obviously, please have a good driving record, and great references!!

Fridays and Saturdays Mom and Dad like to have a date night. There will be lots of domestic travel in the future and eventually international travel.
