A Fort Worth, TX family is looking for a full-time childcare assistant/executive assistant. Position will start in January 2018. However, for the right person, it could start before.

 
The job is much more than being a “Nanny”.  It is a large household with over 15 on the house team and four other professionals in the same role also doing house management and organization roles.  Many previous professionals in this role have become doctors, lawyers, and nurses.  Only very top candidates are selected. 
 
Recent graduates are welcome although someone who has taught lower school or middle school for several years would be ideal if they are looking from a break from teaching with very high pay.
 
Responsibilities will include:
·        Taking the children (girls ages 9 to 11) to school
·        Picking girls up from school and taking them to afterschool activities.
·        Helping the girls with homework after school which involves some tutoring
·        House management skills including organization, shopping, record keeping, packing for trips, etc.
·        50 hours a week with evening and weekend shifts as needed
·        Traveling with the family.  Trips in the past several years have included everything from Disneyworld to Austria, Finland, and France.
The successful candidate will:
·        Have an Education or field-related degree
·        Have had a 3.0 GPA or above from a high quality university
·        Have high scores on SAT/ACT
·        Be willing to work for 2+ years with the family
·        Have an excellent driving record
·        Be very very organized and highly motivated

Experience in purchasing, shipping and receiving helpful. Ordering office supplies
and keeping stocked Tracking outgoing and incoming packages.
Help revamp the business files after the Rare Book room is completed, and to
help Executive Assistant revamp the personal files
Research, project management, overseeing petty cash.
Knowledge of all office systems, telecommunications, iPhone etc. to trouble shoot as needed
Creating a manual for residences
Run errands as needed.
Typical hours are 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, with some weekends as necessary

Organizing and running large household events and parties as well as day to day oversight of resident home(s) as needs:
Overseeing maintenance of private homes

Travel:
Work with Executive Assistant on creating detailed travel packages.

Calendar is uploaded online daily. All 3 kids have different schedules daily. You will be responsible for all of their schedules and keeping the nannies on schedule since everyone besides YOU will be computer illiterate. There is a heavy childcare aspect to this position. Pickups Monday through Friday for all three kids (17, 15 and 12 years old) and lots of family errands. In addition you will be responsible for all the party planning with the Mrs. and doing extensive gift buying etc. This is a full time position. Family pays per hour on the books plus health insurance (including dental) after 3 months… Schedule is Monday – Friday, a very occasional Saturday. The client does split days often with some remote errands, calendaring, travel, online ordering in the morning and then afternoons with the principal / mom at the home in the afternoon usually. The most important time you are needed is afternoons to evenings from 2 p.m. -7 p.m. The mornings you can schedule vendors or errands as needed and make your own schedule. We would like someone who has no ambitions to work in entertainment . Family wants someone long term and able to commit to 5 years. West side preferred. Home is in Santa Monica.
