Posted : 10/10/25

Are you a Chef who loves to help out with the after school shuffle or a nanny who loves to cook? We are looking for someone with a go getter attitude who will be happy to make delicious, flavorful and healthy meals while also helping with school aged kids in the afternoon.

Mom and Dad are busy working, they love to be hands on when they can, but need a partner to help them so that they can all sit down to a healthy dinner.

it is a funny request to want the chef to maybe kick the soccer ball in the back yard or even do a pick up for one of the kids. They have a couple nannies so it is not every day!!

You will be completely in charge of the kitchen! You’ll oversee groceries, keeping the kitchen clean, make the weekly menu.

The schedule will typically be Monday-Friday, from 12-8 or 1-9pm. Salary is open, they want to see who is available and interested. Please send a cover and let us know your salary request!

Family of Four Seeks Organized Cook with High EQ

Filled

Posted : 07/31/25

Part-Time | Brentwood

Our lovely clients — a couple in Brentwood with two sons (one heading to college this fall, the other starting high school) — is seeking a warm, professional Chef to support their family twice a week.

Schedule:
Ideally Monday and Wednesday (or Thursday). The Chef will cook on-site two days per week but prepare meals to cover four days. No serving is required — items can be left for the family to finish or reheat as needed.

Ideal Candidate:
They’re looking for a Chef with excellent boundaries and a high emotional IQ — someone who is gracious, professional, and takes feedback well. Years ago, they hired a wonderful Chef who unfortunately was a bit too chatty, so this time, they’d love someone quietly confident who’s there to please and support the household.

Food Preferences:
Lunch is light and simple, and dinners are family-style and nourishing. Their teenage son eats 4–5 meals a day, so it’s helpful to have heartier staples like tortilla soup or proteins like chicken breasts stocked in the fridge.

Fun Extras:
They have a small farm in Ojai with a 1,000 sq ft garden and would love to incorporate ingredients from it whenever possible. There’s one dog and one cat — the cat mostly stays in one upstairs room, so allergy concerns are minimal.

To Apply:
Please send your updated resume, reference information, hourly rate, and availability.

Thanks so much!

Full-Time Private Chef for Entertainment Office in Burbank

Filled

Posted : 08/27/25

$130,000 plus benefits | Weekdays only | Creative, high-energy role

We are seeking a full-time private chef to support a high-profile company owner in a dynamic entertainment office in Burbank. This is a unique opportunity for a creative, flexible chef who is passionate about global flavors, loves to experiment, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, upbeat environment.

About the role:

You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and a light afternoon snack (approximately 2.5 meals per day), Monday through Friday. All meals are to be cooked off-site in your own kitchen and delivered fully prepared each day. The Principal’s assistant will handle any necessary reheating. While there is currently no kitchen on site, there is a possibility that a commercial kitchen space may be rented nearby in the future. On occasion, you may be asked to prepare additional food for in-office holiday parties or small gatherings.

Culinary preferences:

The principal especially loves tapas, paella, and Szechwan flavors. He is eager to explore fusion cuisine and encourages creativity in the kitchen. This is an ideal position for a chef with a strong foundation in classic techniques who enjoys thinking outside the box and coming up with new ideas.

What we’re looking for:

• A chef who lives in or near Burbank
• Strong experience preparing fresh, healthy, flavorful meals (private chef experience a plus)
• Solid knowledge of global cuisines — particularly Spanish, Asian, and fusion styles
• Highly organized, efficient, and self-motivated
• A warm, positive, and energizing presence — you’ll be part of the office culture, so personality matters
• Comfortable working independently and delivering meals daily

Compensation and benefits:

• $62.50 hour, based on a 40-hour week (annualized to $130,000)
• Full-time salaried position with no overtime or weekend work
• Benefits include health insurance, two weeks of PTO, and mileage reimbursement

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a high-functioning creative office while doing what you love. If you’re a talented chef who thrives on innovation and enjoys bringing joy through food, we’d love to hear from you.

Looking for an NY based chef who has beautiful presentations for farm to table Soho family

Filled

Posted : 09/11/25

We are helping a family of 5 find a second chef to tag team with their lead chef. This family loves beautiful food and presentations, farm to table, healthy, clean, organic and innovative ways to get their children to eat healthy food. You and the chef will rotate lunches, weekend prepped meals and dinners depending on the family’s travel schedule. You will cook from a location that is roughly 15 minutes from the family home, so time management skills are a must. You need to be able to have your meals prepped and in an uber, with enough time to arrive at the family home and plate their meals before their scheduled dinner. The chef is required to stay through the meal and do full a clean up, as the housekeeper leaves at 5pm everyday. At times, this is a very high stress job – so a very go with the flow personality is needed. Please be an excellent team player as you will have to work closely with and report to the lead chef. This family does a 3 month trial that pays $800 day and excellent medical benefits for you and your dependents. After 3 months, you are eligible for their 401k and PTO. If this sounds like your dream job, send us your resume! heather@thehelpcompany.com

Part-Time Drop-Off Chef Needed in Santa Monica

Filled

AIP Keto Meal Prep | 1–2 Deliveries per Week | Flexible Hours

A single gentleman in Santa Monica is seeking a chef for drop-off meal prep aligned with specific dietary guidelines — primarily AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) and Keto. Meals can be prepared off-site and delivered to his home 1–2 times per week.

The client typically eats two meals per day, seven days per week, and would like homemade bone broth included regularly. In about six weeks, his dietary plan will expand slightly to allow for items like smoothies, but the focus on clean, high-quality ingredients will remain. He is not picky — just looking for simple, nutrient-dense food made with care.

If you’re familiar with AIP or Keto and enjoy supporting health-conscious clients, this is a great opportunity with a thoughtful and appreciative individual.
