Do you love to cook healthy farm to table fresh food? We have the perfect job for you! This wonderful and high profile family in Beverly Hills is looking for an experienced private chef who knows how to navigate a private home and brings delicious meals to enhance their culinary life.

The schedule is roughly 11:00am – 8:00pm, Monday – Friday. You will be making lunch and dinner everyday for the family. Pick up the school aged children in the afternoon and then come back and oversee homework while getting a simple and healthy dinner on the table. We really want someone who is a team player, has a service attitude and understands family dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a culinary school background, relaxed and low key personality and a curiosity to keep up on all the food trends.

Responsibilities include:

– Menu planning
– Shabbat dinner every Friday
– Executing dinner parties
– Understanding and continuing education on your end of food trends and techniques
– Knowledge and curiosity for gluten free and diary free cooking
– Grocery shopping
– Keeping the pantry and refrigerator spotless and updated with fresh items
– Maintaining a spotless, tidy and organized kitchen
– Ensure all appliances and aspects of the kitchen are working, clean and updated
– Maintaining relationships with local farmer’s market vendors, sommeliers and other food specialists
– Organize and direct deep cleaning of the kitchen when needed
– Help and assist catering staff for large events
– Prepare food for school lunches and outings
– Make sure fridge is stocked for days you are not working

We are looking for a full time chef (Tuesday through Saturday) in Cow Hollow.

You will be responsible for cooking breakfast and lunch during the week (for 1-4 people), and on Saturdays will be asked to stay and cook dinner as well.

This couple is very generous, and likes to feel very taken care of. Service is key and you will be asked to serve every meal (for larger dinner parties they will bring in a trusted server to assist.)

High level, CONFIDENTIAL business meetings take place at the residence during the week, so you should be discreet.

We are looking for a chef who has worked at top restaurants in the city (Gary Danko, Central Kitchen, Frances, etc.) and has also worked in High Net worth homes. We are also looking for someone with who is socially savvy and knows when to offer more water, wine, etc.

Please do not apply if you do not have long term references, and have less than 8 years full time (RECENT) experience as a chef.

The kitchen is your domain, you will be expected to leave the kitchen spotless after your shift is over.

You may be expected to cook for the staff as well (staff of 3) if there is an early meeting at the home, a late dinner party, etc.

You will be occasionally asked to travel to their vacation homes on the Big Island of Hawaii, Newport Beach and NYC.

We have a wonderful client in BH who is looking for a Chef. Her Mother, who has diabetes, is recovering from a stroke and will be staying with her through late summer/early fall. While the parents are in town, our client will need help up to ten hours per day, M-F. Once Mom & Dad leave, the job will work approximately three days a week. We have a client that is looking for a drop off chef Monday Wednesday Friday. You will be cooking for her and her husband but she needs to be aon a low sodium diet. She is looking for good fruits and vegies, some protein, and other healthy food. She is supposed to be eating small snacky meals 6 x a day to help with her chemo. We have a FABULOUS and lovely client who needs LAST MINUTE help with dinner TONIGHT and tomorrow in Beverly Hils.   They eat everything, and like to use all organic, grass fed, healthy ingredients.  They have two boys who are 1 & 3.  The boys eat at 6:00pm,  and the rest of the family eats at 8:00pm.  Tonight they are having six for dinner and tomorrow night will be between four and ten people, total.  They do a plated dinner — entree, starter, dessert.  They have staff to serve and clean, so it’s just shopping and cooking.  Call the office if you are an experienced Chef who can hop in his/her car and head to Beverly Hills!

We are looking for an intuitive, warm, supportive and TALENTED Chef to work three times a week for a lovely couple in Pasadena.  The gentleman begins cancer treatment this month and will need nutrition, possible in the form of smoothies only for a while.  The family anticipates varying stages of appetite and ability to swallow.  His wife will also need sustenance during this difficult time, and she is a picky eater with very specific dietary desires!  Left to her own devices, she won’t eat — so Chefs should be encouraging and mindful.  The ideal candidate is an excellent Chef who has deep understanding of nutritional needs.  Experience cooking for someone undergoing chemo is a huge plus. The couple would prefer Sunday and Wednesday.  They love very healthy simple proteins, simple veggies, cut up fruit, and farmers market shopping.  Ridiculously easy! We always say that we have a cool family…but they truly are kind, and easy. They are trying to be healthy, and lose some weight. They would like lunch and dinner packed and labeled. This Bel Air family is looking for an organic and healthy chef that will also be open to cooking a ‘steak and potatoes’ meal every once in a while. The family would love to find someone who wants to take care of a family and be of service. Menu planning, grocery shopping at local organic markets and kitchen organization are all part of this job. This person could have restaurant experience as well as private chef experience– most important is that you have worked in an environment where service is part of the job. Attitude is important in this fully staffed home. The kitchen is exquisite and recently remodeled. Candidate must be flexible to cook some mornings, majority of meals will be lunches and dinners. Family travels to second home in North Malibu during the summer so you must be flexible to travel and with your schedule. Salary is completely DOE.

Please be comfortable working all different diets and making fresh baby food. The family is in town for a few months from Europe and would love healthy meals while here. Some weeks you will be there every day, others you will prep food for a few days and leave it in the fridge ready to heat up. You will be cooking for the parents, nannies and occasional guests.

They would like if you can be free for them the whole 2 months. It is not likely you will work 7 days in a row but they would like to have that flexibility.
