Family is incredibly healthy and they like to eat clean. Most days will be just lunch, dinner and snacks for the two parents and two kids . They entertain all day by the pool on Saturdays so they want someone who can cook for a group of people. The family wants you to be tech savvy as they shop online for all of their food. This is a salaried position $65,000 per year.

We are in need of a great chef for the month of July in the Hamptons. We would love someone that loves big families. You will be cooking for the staff and the children. (Staff of nannies, and housekeeper and 2 children) In terms of entertaining; there is a ton of it. If you have restaurant background, that would be great, as you could be cooking for a lot of people. When there are big events, the family will use a catering company that you will be in charge of! The family is habitual, so you will know what is expected from day to day. They eat organic, healthy food – love soup, fish, steaks, etc.

This Bel Air family is looking for an organic and healthy chef that will also be open to cooking a ‘steak and potatoes’ meal every once in a while. The family would love to find someone who wants to take care of a family and be of service. Menu planning, grocery shopping at local organic markets and kitchen organization are all part of this job. This person could have restaurant experience as well as private chef experience– most important is that you have worked in an environment where service is part of the job. Attitude is important in this fully staffed home. The kitchen is exquisite and recently remodeled. Candidate must be flexible to cook some mornings, majority of meals will be lunches and dinners. Family travels to second home in North Malibu during the summer so you must be flexible to travel and with your schedule. Salary is completely DOE.

Please be comfortable working all different diets and making fresh baby food. The family is in town for a few months from Europe and would love healthy meals while here. Some weeks you will be there every day, others you will prep food for a few days and leave it in the fridge ready to heat up. You will be cooking for the parents, nannies and occasional guests.

They would like if you can be free for them the whole 2 months. It is not likely you will work 7 days in a row but they would like to have that flexibility.

Candidates must work well with others, know formal service and be willing to travel. The position will be evening cook and some cleaning. Monday – Friday Hours: 1pm to 9pm. The person will cook one meal a day, to be ready at 6:30pm – the evening meal is mainly for the lady of the house (sometimes her daughters, sometimes there will be some dinner parties and some larger parties occasionally. A side note: If the kitchen is cleaned up before 9pm you can often leave but will still be paid the full 8 hours.

The emphasis needs to be on a cook who prepares simple, delicious meals. Nothing fancy, all Gluten free, some vegetarian, some vegan. All fresh. “Home made.” (No purchased salad dressing, no using canned chicken broth, etc.) Fresh soups, salads with fresh salad dressings, fresh vegetables, some protein like fish, Chicken Cutlets, Veggie Burgers. The person will also need to purchase the food for the house.

There is some cleaning – Mainly keeping the kitchen clean, the wooden floors on the main floor of the house clean, light dusting = basic maintenance cleaning. The family has someone to come in once a week to do the “deep cleaning” on the main floor.

She would like a calm person who enjoys cooking and can clean. Someone more on the quiet side (i.e.: not a strong personality.) Kind and willing to help. You do not have to speak perfect English, but to be able to communicate adequately.

The house staff is paid hourly, overtime if over 8 hours, paid vacation ( 1 week the first year, then 2 weeks,) 6 paid sick days a year and health insurance. Starting pay: $30 an hour.
