A private family in Encino is seeking an exceptional ROTA Travel Nanny to support their toddler. This role requires a 24 7 mindset, seamless partnership with hands-on parents, and the flexibility to shift between live-in and live-out, travel internationally, and provide overnight care. Absolute discretion, excellent judgment, and a calm, confident presence are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with parents to plan and support age-appropriate activities: crafts, sports, classes, playdates, outdoor time.
• Provide full child supervision at all times, including drives, school pick-ups drop-offs, appointments, and outings.
• Manage all child-related housekeeping: laundry, tidying, organizing, inventorying, packing unpacking, and maintaining all spaces and supplies at home and while traveling.
• Support daily routines: wake-ups, meals, personal care, bathing, dressing, potty training diapering, naps, and bedtime.
• Book classes, update calendars, coordinate schedules, and run child-related errands and grocery shopping.
• Prepare healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, with awareness of nutritional needs (light meal prep for parents as needed).
• Provide overnight care—child does not sleep through the night; nanny must keep monitor at bedside and respond promptly.
• Work respectfully with extended family members when parents are not present.
• Accompany child during swimming and recreational activities.
• Feed the family dog daily.
• Drive when needed and maintain readiness for travel at any time.
• Maintain certifications (CPR First Aid) and attend required safety car seat trainings.
• Communicate all relevant information to the incoming ROTA nanny at the end of each rotation.
• Must maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times.

ROTA Structure:

• The family typically follows a one-month-on one-month-off rotation.
• During international travel, rotations may extend up to—but never beyond—two months.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a ROTA or travel nanny position preferred.
• Must pass rigorous background checks and provide stellar references.
• Proven experience with toddlers and the ability to adapt to dynamic household routines.

There is a current helper on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The new hire can either take those hours for additional pay or focus solely on the Monday–Thursday schedule. Please note your preference if you are interested!

Daily responsibilities:

• Walk the two puppies and run errands, such as grocery shopping
• Prep dinner and assist with light home organization
• Pick up the kids from school in North Hollywood (minivan provided)
• Transport kids to soccer, football, friends’ houses, or home for homework and play
• Help mom make dinner and clean up (sweeping and loading dishes)

There is a strong preference for someone who can cook. A full-time housekeeper is on-site Monday–Friday, so your role is focused on tidying and organization rather than deep cleaning.

The family values flexibility — occasional late nights for date nights or sleepovers may be needed, so this role is not for someone who wants to leave promptly at 7:00 PM every day.

A wonderful Brentwood family is looking for an experienced, calm, and grounded Newborn Care Specialist to support them while their full-time NCS is on vacation. This is a lovely, warm household with hands-on parents who value routine, balance, and healthy living.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, centered, and enjoys tag-teaming with parents. You should be comfortable caring for a newborn and helping occasionally with the toddler, supporting feeding and sleep routines, and being generally helpful in the home.

The family is seeking full 24-7 coverage for the duration of the assignment. Occasional weekend travel to their home in Ojai is a possibility.

We are looking for a fabulous after-school helper for a sweet, busy family with three energetic boys! Mom needs to clone herself! The role is fast-paced and involves juggling a variety of tasks with a smile.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, school pick-ups and drop-offs, and helping tidy up. The boys are ages 5, 10, and 12 and attend a French school, so French-speaking Nannies are especially encouraged to apply.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 3:30–7:30 8:00 pm. A willingness to work late on some Fridays or Saturdays is a major plus. The family lives in Los Feliz; the younger boys’ school is nearby, while the eldest attends school in Burbank. Mileage is reimbursed.

Pay is $30–$40 hour, DOE. The ideal candidate is a former camp counselor or similar, lives on the East Side, has experience with school-aged children, glowing references, a clean background, and is seeking a part-time role only.
