Influential New York family is seeking a highly experienced, full-charge afternoon nanny. Both parents maintain high-profile careers and are looking for an exceptional professional to provide attentive care for their three children.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, discreet, and capable of exercising excellent judgment in all situations. This role requires a polished, dependable individual who can confidently support the children’s daily routines while maintaining the highest standards of care, professionalism, and confidentiality.
The family is based on the Upper West Side and would ideally like to find a candidate who lives locally and is comfortable navigating the city. Applicants must have recent experience working as a professional nanny in New York City. Long-term references from prior professional nanny positions are required, and we will only consider candidates with established experience in the field.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Saturdays included. The family will guarantee pay for Saturdays regardless of whether care is needed. We are also open to meeting exceptional candidates who are available Monday through Friday only.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children. Responsibilities include homework supervision and supporting the children’s afternoon routines. We are seeking someone who connects easily with older children, demonstrates strong interpersonal awareness, and has the ability to read a room and adapt to the family’s needs.
