Holiday NCS Wanted: A very special client in the Palisades seeks NCS coverage from December 23rd through January 6th for an infant girl, born in late August. You will be covering the holiday break for the NCS who’s been with the baby since her birth so sleep training is already well underway. This is a daytime job that works 7:00am to 7:00pm. Mom would love to have you cover at least a half day on Christmas Eve. You can take Christmas day off if you’d like. She would like to have coverage on New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Former NYC family who has been in LA for years, is looking for a great afterschool nanny! The kids are 11 and 14, play sports every day after school and are academically high achievers. Mom and Dad work – Mom is around during the day working from home and Dad is in an office. Parents are type A, very organized and are looking for a similar personality in their nanny.

This is a classic afterschool Nanny role: you’ll pick up the kids from school, drive them safely to their sports, bring snacks, bring them home or to any appointments, help make simple dinners, and make sure homework gets started. There will be some tidying up but they have a housekeeper so no laundry help is needed.

Most weeks you’ll work closer to 30-32 hours a week though the family will guarantee 35 hours a week. They travel on family vacations about 3-4 times a year, they do not need you to join, and will always pay you for those weeks they don’t need you.

Please be college educated, athletic, have a clear driving history, and be open to staying over with the kids for a long weekend on occasion if the parents are out of town. They do not have pets right now, but may get a puppy, so please love dogs!

Nanny should be excited for lots of traveling with the family as they enjoy going to Telluride, Lake Tahoe for most of the summer, and other amazing places like New Zealand, New York, and Europe. Schedule is 50 hours per week M-F. the family needs help with tidiness and would like a gentle, independent and kind nanny who is willing to have a more RIE like approach. For example, not baby entertaining, but observing and respectfully engaging.

The perfect candidate will be happy to help with meal prep, follow a recipe and make simple dinners, and pack the kids lunches. You’ll be happy to tidy the kitchen, handle the dishwasher, and help with laundry. Even vacuum when there is a need, although there is a housekeeper 4 days a week. The family is currently on the Westside and is looking for help starting October 2024 through July 2025. In a dream scenario, you are from Denver, working in LA, and could relocate back home to Denver with the family.
