Couple in Mandeville Canyon needs a Housekeeper Temp to help them for 10 days straight. Both principals need extra TLC as they are both getting surgery and will be recuperating. Duties include light cooking or meal prep, light cleaning and some petcare. There is one dog so he will need some walks and feedings. there may be some driving. Hours are 8 am to 4 pm. This is ten days straight and over the course of weekdays and weekend. Family pays $25 per hour cash.

Duties: Errands like dry-cleaning and market. Stocking the fridge. Light cooking-meaning a grilled chicken if needed… but meals only for the 3 of them. Must be able to deal with vendors and manage the house and speak perfect English!
Some pet care: There are 4 small dogs who live in their own dog house. There is one old cat. There will be some cat litter and picking up poop involved. Sheets and clothes are all sent to dry cleaner.
Job is 40 hours per week. Flexibility is key. Some days may be 9-5 , some days 8-4 and some days 1-9. Position is paid properly on the books… $25 per hour. One week of vacation is paid after one year with the family. You will be guaranteed 40 hours per week, 3 paid sick days after 90 days employment. The family travels 6 weeks a year and will need you to stay with the animals two weeks at thanksgiving and two weeks at Christmas / New Years . For sleep overs with the animals, the family pays $50 per night cash in addition to your weekly guarantee.

They are looking for someone flexible who can work 40 hours a week, usually Monday-Friday, but will include Saturdays if the boss is in town.  They often won’t know this until the week of. Saturday work days are usually about 3-4 hours, so you would be able to leave early one day of the week. It’s very important that you are available on Saturdays.  Work on Saturday can start at 9 or 10am.

Your day to day will include deep cleaning, some errand running, catering to house guests and keeping the home organized. You need to be a team player, and a good communicator. No task should be too small, and you should be comfortable asking how to help. You will be in charge of stocking the fridge by handling the grocery shopping, and making sure drinks are stocked. This is for a single businessman who is very busy with work, but depending what is going on, does spend time at home so you should be really great about knowing when to give him privacy.
