We’re helping a truly lovely family find their dream Housekeeper!
This is a warm, happy home with three young children (all under six) and three sweet dogs — so we’re looking for someone who loves a lively, full house.
The family needs help Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility to start earlier or stay later when needed. They pay hourly on a net basis, reimburse for health insurance, and offer generous paid time off: two weeks of vacation, sick pay per LA County, and six paid national holidays.
What they’re looking for:
• Someone who loves to organize — a person who can thoughtfully put things away, keep systems in order, and find smart ways to make space for new items.
• A confident home cook who can follow recipes, prep broths and juices, and help with the kids’ meals.
• A great cleaner who keeps the home sparkling and tidy every day.
• A dog lover who’s happy to feed, let out, and occasionally walk the pups.
• Someone who doesn’t mind running errands — dry cleaning, grocery runs, or dropping off packages.
• A detail-oriented person who can handle laundry, steaming, and light ironing.
• A creative helper who enjoys setting up and putting away holiday décor.
• A clear communicator who can text easily, use Google, and stay connected.
The right person will also be comfortable playing with their adorable 3-year-old daughter when needed — she loves a good playmate!

Our client is adding a housekeeper to their team which is well oiled, service oriented and very happy to be working at this gorgeous estate. The first and most important part of the job is to be a great team player, have humility and be able to take direction from the lead housekeeper. The team is very collaborative, as well as detail oriented. The house is run like a 10 star hotel and we love this team. You MUST be able to travel a few weeks a year and you will be well compensated for that! The schedule is typically 7-3 or 8-4 Thursday – Monday or Sunday- Thursday, although flexibility is important too!! They also might ask you to travel a bit, so please make sure you are able to travel

Daily responsibilities:
Focus areas include the master bedroom, bathrooms closets, the downstairs powder room, and the kitchen. Keeping the floors clean especially in high traffic areas. A rotation for general cleaning is expected, with an emphasis on deep cleaning during the owners’ travels.
They have a husky, and so it is helping care for the dog, feeding her and making sure she goes out regularly and is safe, as they have constant deliveries throughout the day when the main gates need to be opened up, and we don’t want her to get out.
• General cleaning of high traffic areas in the home
• Maintaining clean bathrooms and bedrooms
• Overall tidiness and organization
Weekly tasks:
• Cleaning the refrigerator freezer
• Wiping down kitchen cabinets and drawers
• Handling expired food disposal
• Being attentive to the family dog, feeding her in the afternoon
• Occasional visits to the Malibu Colony residence
Other duties:
• Receiving Instacart Grocery Household Orders
• Managing dry cleaning services
• Receiving and documenting delivered packages
• Answering the front gates
• Occasional kitchen assistance
• Occasional potential to stay later during gatherings hosted by the family, providing additional cleaning support
The schedule will be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, accounting for a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily.
