LOVELY couple in Brentwood is looking for a new full-time Housekeeper. Duties are cleaning, laundry, ironing (familiarity with the Miele rolling machine is important) and assistance when guests come to call. Husbands’ shirts need to be ironed, so please make sure you are happy to iron. No other employees with the exception of vendors (gardeners to pool care workers), who the Housekeeper will help oversee. The schedule is 9:00am to 5:30pm with a half hour break for lunch. Job Description from the client:

-When the family is in town this would specifically be a laundress position with some housekeeping. When they are away, it will be more focused on housekeeping.

-The Mrs. has an extraordinary wardrobe that is impeccably maintained.

-The home is high end but not excessively formal.

-The standards are high, so an appropriate candidate should have the required experience to navigate that environment.

-Sundays and Wednesdays off, but room for flexibility on the Wednesday (you can switch it for a Tuesday or a Thursday).

-When the family entertains, overtime is sometimes necessary, although they don’t do so excessively.

Job Description:
– Housekeeping (both daily maintenance cleaning and regular deep cleaning)
– Storage and house organization
– Handling deliveries to house
– Flagging repairs to be done by handyman or outside vendors
Qualifications:
– Experience of 4 years or more in residential housekeeping
– Strong references
– Fully vaccinated for Covid
– Clean background check
– Legally eligible to work
– Some English proficiency
– Trustworthy and respectful with a positive attitude

Schedule, compensation and benefits:
